$5 a pop is the most common price in season. Looks like they are pricey now.
What are the dimensions of yours?
About 1/2 inch thick? Or closer to 3/4?
I genuinely cannot bring myself to measure that, as it will SEVERELY f**k with all my future programming if I do, haha. I measure everything by number of mats vs inches.
I didn’t spring for premium prices, so whatever is cheapest is what I bought.
Okay thanks! A heavy stall mat is 4ftx6ftx3/4.
Cut into 24 pieces (1ft squares) would bring the price down to about to under $2 a piece.
Looking badass AF.
How’s the hamering? Always wanted to try this
I haven’t read all the other posts, but this seems rather personal.
Now, now, take it easy. We are just discussing rubbe… I mean pavers
It’s pretty good for explosive flexion like I was doing. I’d like to do some rotational stuff but that’s probably best left to throwing med balls or bands. It’s a fun conditioning tool, but if you don’t hit the tire squarely then it can twist the hammer in your hands easily.
SGSS W7 D2- OHP
Trained at the work gym again during my lunch break. The cables are hard to beat. I still don’t trust my set-up for heavy rows after the first cable connector gave out.

Lifting Time: 45 minutes. I skipped arms and abs again. This session is just a beast.
I forgot to mention that I was 226.4 lbs this morning. I’ve adjusted to being hungry and it’s becoming more normal. I’ll get to stop this nonsense once I see 223 consistently.
Why 223?
The goal is 225, but that’s always first thing in the morning when I’m dehydrated and mostly empty. I figured I’d buy myself a couple of spare pounds so I don’t have to worry about cutting back again in the near future. I know I need to stay below 230 for awhile and I’ve given myself the window of 225-230.
I also know from experience that if I reach my goal and accept it in a dehydrated and empty state then I usually rebound by a couple pounds if I immediately go back to maintenance. If I go to 223 then hopefully I’ll see 225 after my rebound.
That’s the weight loss equivalent of setting your alarm clock 9 minutes early so that you get to hit the snooze bar once.
That made me chuckle hard enough that I felt the need to go beyond liking it.
Well, I’d planned to do standing OHP and use my work gym but they just closed it down. I’ll try to Z Press and if that sucks then I’ll be stuck with DBs.
The Z press definitely sucks.
