I’m trying to figure out how I could have caused all of that damage. I can’t think of any moments where I’ve done something and thought, “Oh, shit.”

The most painful things I experienced were in bed. And that wasn’t from anything I did with my wife. I’d wake up lying on my right side and be in pain.

My layman’s guess would be that before and after surgery all those other bits had to pick up the slack. Over time this wore at them and during rehab one by one these tears popped up. Because it was all slow and over a long period nothing jumped out at you.

It shouldn’t have happened but it is possible to tear shit during PT.

Sounds like you have another appointment with a surgeon.

I would have such a hard time trusting someone to fix all that. And, how much of it NEEDS to be fixed to move forward in your training? Who knows.

I’m sure if my shoulders were MRI’d, there would be all kinds of issues.

Are you in pain at still currently? During sleep currently?

Can you train around it pain free? Axle bar, neutral pressing, etc.

I have modified because of my shoulder issues over the years. I need shoulder surgery, but that ain’t happening until I can’t find a way to progress.

Perhaps if you can get the cuffs and supporting stuff as strong and healthy as possible, you’ll be ok.

How about a run at the peptides now?

How could they miss all this before!? Have you thought about a second opinion on the first and second MRI reading?

Man that really blows! I’d be going back to the original MRI with the doc and comparing to make sure they didn’t just miss something the first time. Seems crazy that you would have done that much damage during PT

Yes and yes. The only reason I had this MRI done was because my PT recommended it. I trust her completely. I can’t do an overhead press movement without pain. I can’t put my backpack in my car without pain and it’s extremely difficult. My right arm is about 60% as strong as my left at flexion, abduction, and external rotation.

Six months of PT has covered this. This is why my PT sent me to get an MRI.

I’m considering trying this but my doc seems to be the go-to guy for shoulders here (and it’s not a small town). He did a great job with my first surgery. It was a tough one.

They told me that my rotator cuff looked good during the surgery. A RC tear is common with a biceps tendon injury so it was a surprise to me when I heard that. Even if they missed it, it’s not like they’ll fix me for free the second time around.

Brother, I’m leaning towards full blown HGH. @jackolee found it for almost a third of the cost I was quoted here. That makes it close in price to the peptides. Desperate times call for desperate measures. @cdmac24 is on some legal stuff during his recovery. I’ll check with him as well.

It’s working pretty darn well for me right now for sure. Getting leaner, stronger and bigger. Oh wait… I’m doing this for recovery. Haha. My igf1 levels are like 125 points over the top of range so it’s doing its job!

You know, it’s a funny moral dilemma for me. It’s a substance that I believe can help me. But it’s banned. On the other hand, I can drink myself retarded and kill my liver or go one state over and smoke weed because it’s legal. I’m wondering if I should let the government guide my morals more than my own common sense and convictions…

@jackolee what’s the difference between taking GH and IGF-1?

I think you should keep all these musings to yourself, or off of here, dude. Just wondering aloud about breaking the law is probably enough to get you in trouble, and even if you were to blot out your face everywhere on here, I could find out who you are in like 10 seconds based off of your location and name. I have no judgements obviously, just don’t wanna see you get screwed here. The internet is dangerous for people with safe jobs.

GH is what your pituitary gland produces. The presence of more GH causes your liver to produce IGF 1. (Another hormone). It’s the easiest way to test to see if you’ve got good GH. Or if your body is responding well to a peptide that is supposed to make you produce more of your own natural GH

I was just reviewing the approved uses - children with a deficiency, AIDS wasting disease, burn victims, and adults with a nonexistent pituitary.

I think they need to add chronic soft tissue injuries to the list for people like me.

Apparently I can legally get 540 units at the airport in Puerta Vallarta. :joy:

What I’m asking is why would you not just take IGF1 if that’s what GH makes your body produce?

And how would you know you’re taking GH and not IGF?

I’m actually not sure on how to answer that. Gonna have to do some research. I believe you can take igf1 as a stand alone supp. I’ll see what I can find. Everyone I’ve known has either taken HGH or peptides though

The guy I know who sells it (who knows a little bit but is far from a SPOC on drug use) said he’d just take the IGF instead of GH. Cheaper and his reasoning was how do you know your taking the $$ GH and intact, not the IGF. Another guy I work with takes IGF and loves it. Gets it from one of those fly by night hormone clinics.

I essentially know so little, the bro science somewhat makes sense :joy:

When I did my research I was offered both. The IGF-1 would last longer for the same amount of money. Off the top of my head, the sides from IGF-1 were worse… Not 100%, though.
