well, arguing against an ignorant man, is fighting a losing battle…you sir are very ignorant…and lack the base fundamentals required to have an educated opinion because you allow personal bias and/or insecurity to shrink your cognitive ability down to that of the household dog.
while you’re crusading to clean up the sports universe of “cheats” and abusers…take some time to cure aids, cancer and create world peace for all…self righteous bitch. fuck you…
buh bye
Umm, yes, I think that my origional post well established that I was biased. Insecure no, not at all, in fact I am soo secure with myself that I openly express my opinions and moral stances without fear of prosecution or attack from those I aim to thwart.
But as for your feeble attempt to undermine my “self righteousness” Why on earth would I want to cure aids or cancer or create world peace? Do you have any idea of what that would do to the population?
feeble? again, you lack the intelligence to grasp what i was alluding to. i’m sure others reading this are able to read between the lines…you however are simple minded…which is obvious from your posts, and your inability to respond with substance while addressing the topic. its just verbal diarrhea. smoke and mirrors. typical of a smug fool, who is incapable of seeing any point of view besides his own skewed vision of how things should be…God forbid you may be making an oversight, or (gasp) be wrong in your assinine assumptions and sweeping generalizations.
have a nice day
No no no, Calm down big guy, I see your veiws, I can read between the lines. But let me ask you this… I dont know if you area juicer or not, For the sake of this argument I will assume that you are. Let me ask you, any of you. Why do steroids? We all have heard why not to, be it moral/phisical reasons why not to wheather they reasons are “smoke and mirrors” or real reasons. (I know there are extreams and every case is situational) but give me a reason why anyone would do steroids. The question is why? Why versus why not. Please enlighten me so that I might see passed my skewed vision of how things should be.[/quote]
thank you. mission accomplished. you seem to have stepped back and re-evaluated your position…or at least the delivery of said opinion. nothing is more frustrating than being lumped into a minority of abusers and ignorant users/slackers. you came off as self righteous and holier than thou…not the best way to get an educated discussion going. the attitude you displayed is/was no different than the ignorance portrayed by the sub-section of AAS users you were bashing…get it? to have an educated opinion requires insight into both sides of the story.
as for divulging reasons for my use…they remain my own and will stay that way.
in general…its alomost past the point of no return in pro sports. use is rampant…use is a fact of life. i’ve been exposed to it on a personal level during my athletic career and ties to others still playing in their respective sports. it won’t disappear. the main driving force is getting and keeping a job, which equates to money. a life long minor leauger may see others with more natural ability passing him by and making it…and making the money. he takes the next step, to get an edge, to provide him with every advantage he can get to make it to the next level. it happens. similarly, guys in the majors or at the highest level of any sport may take that step in order to stay where they are, keep their job, continue making the bucks and hopefully perform at a higher level to get a bigger contract based on performance…or simply strive to be the best for personal satisfaction/ego stroking. sure its not ethical, but you can’t fully understand the logistics until you are in that position yourself. pro BB is another thing altogether, the culture demands abuse to be competetive…sad but true.
recreational users like the majority on this and other boards have their own personal reasons. sure, some are looking for the quick fix, some want to be hyuuuuge quick and take a shortcut getting there, some use to cover up self image and insecurity issues. not my reasons i assure you. some bros are on hrt/trt…medical/health reasons drive that. anyways, the point is, you can’t sling rocks when you only see one side. that in itself is just as ignorant a position as the people who give AAS users a bad name.
