Jtownlax MAKING YOU BIG AND LEAN

That meal plan not only looked easy, but delicious.

JTown is just going to have to work on his dedication and time skills in order to get by in college. Plenty of time to learn.

At first glance it looks like a ton of work, but all you need is a foreman and a hot plate + skillet + pan, microwave, mini-fridge, and somewhere to put some pantry goods. Most of these could be made really fast.

All the meat for one day could be done in 30min or take a couple of hours on a weekend and you could be doing things like the pasta and setting aside the other things you need while cooking up the meat. If you have access to an oven it would make batch cooking even easier because you could be studying or whatnot while you wait. Even the eggs could be cooked up ahead of time in the form of boiled eggs.

For those of you in college in the dorms and cooking isn’t allowed, just play some music and point a fan towards your open window and use lots of fabreeze. It worked while I was in college like a charm. Be sure to hide all your cooking paraphanalia when you’re done with it.

Pick me I need another 50lbs to get full house. I can work out 10x a week

The funny thing is Zraw gave him the chance to have a “free” diet, where he just mandated macros and let him choose his own food. He’s the one who wanted it all laid out in detail like that.

If I copy it will it work for me?

@Heavytrower what’s your goal?

Y’all need to give JTown a break. How many of y’all have ever played on traveling sports teams? You have basically no control over when you’re eating, where you’re eating, gym access, down time, etc… Your day is dictated by your coaches. A program like this, while really badass on a variety of levels, isn’t feasible and possibly even counterproductive to what the kid needs.

I’m sure from an aesthetic standpoint it’s topnotch, but tempo leg extensions and high rep machine work have no place on a budding athletes training program. Yeah, if he knew he was going to be playing on a traveling team he should’ve never tried for this, but it is what it is. This kid is hard enough on himself. Last thing he needs is a bunch of people kicking him while he’s already down.

As I said before my problem is not the choice itself as much as it is the “yeah i wanna be in” when he knew there was a chance he couldnt do it…

Saying something like “before we start I must say im waiting for an answer to see if im gonna be on that lacrosse team, if I am I wont be able to fully commit, I should know very soon so can we see what we do once i get the answer” wouldve been… better.

But hey I guess at 15yrs old you dont think about these kinda things though, no big deal… i guess

The problem is he didn’t even try!

He got ZRAW to dedicate time and energy, under false pretenses, then instead of manning up and saying, “Hey ZRAW, I fucked up bro, I need you to help me stay strong and fast for lacrosse too, I can’t just bodybuild,” instead of that, he just quit. Which shows not only did he not care about his goals, but that he’d been wasting everyone’s time as well, because he never intended on following through.
Did he not know he was playing lacrosse?
Did he not know his own goals?

He put his name in a hat to feel cool, then when his number was picked, he bailed.
He deserves a bit of flak. This is a community of lifters that should expect success out of each other, especially when people on this site give substantial time investments, like ZRAW has lately.

Now don’t take my tone for hate, I like jtownlax, he’s been a productive and cordial member of the T Nation community as far as I know, and as with everyone on here I’m rooting for him.
I hope the kid sees not how people are angry, but how they’re disappointed. He has a lot of potential, and people here want him to succeed.

This thread is what T-Nation is about, vocal support for active participants in their own life, and vocal disapproval at failure to try.
This place has never pulled punches, that’s what made it great. Jtownlax fired up that old school vibe, I’m diggin it. It was too comfortable 'round here.

Now, Jtownlax, if you’re reading this, go all-state and shut us the fuck up.

^^^ Completely agree. It was definitely shortsighted and a little selfish on his part, but like you said, he’s 15. That’s par for the course. If he wasn’t shortsighted and a little selfish, something would be off.

Also, I wanted to say what you’re doing here is awesome. Don’t check the site much anymore due to all of the ridiculous bullshit (mostly caused by one poster), but things like what you’re doing keep what little faith I have left in T-Nation alive. Be easy bud.

Leave the kid alone.

Agreed

Zraw is there any chance you could give me some guidance? I didn’t go in for this because im 25 so too old and i have maybe 2 years training experience. Really i just need someone to tell me how i should be training, if i’m not growing tell me what to change, and tell me based on my situation what i should be eating and training for. I have come a long way on my own but have a very unimpressive physique. I’m tired of not looking like i lift.

Maybe if you could advise me and make changes like once a month it would keep me on the right track. I understand you are advising a few people now so may not have the spare time, but hey it can’t hurt to ask right? If you can get me from 14 to 16 inch arms (at 6’1) this year then name your price lol!!
