I’m still injured, so currently, no. I hope I can go to one in the summer.
How did you get injured?
Degenerative Achillies Tendonopathy, an overuse injury. Usually runners get it from running/stoping, football players get it from hitting other dudes at high speeds (absorption), and strongmen will get it from pulling events. I was none of these when I got it, so I have no idea.
Well the rate of tissue degeneration has genetic influence, so it could be congenital or possibly from when you were so heavy. Maybe a compounding of the two factors.
Or the fact that I like to randomly sprint with no prior preparation, at top speed lol.
that too. impulsive behavior definitely lends itself to injury lol … I should know.
lol. Well, hopefully I’ll be back training legs heavy again soon. I actually go back to deadlifting next Thursday, 145 with the axle bar so I can at least get SOMETHING out of it. Do a few sets of 20 reps, not to failure.

What’s your PR for squats?
No idea, haven’t back squatted in months. I bet I could front squat 385 though.
11/25/11
Chest/Back:
Flat Bench Press: 285x5, than 315x1. I probably had more reps, but I just wanted one rep.
SS
Rows
Dips: Got 70x5, than 90x1. Depressing
SS
Pullups
Incline Curls: 55x4.

Dips are weird. If your experience will be anything like mine, you’ll leave dips for a while and come back to them setting ridiculous PRs while being considerably heavier.
Sorry, haven’t updated this in a while.
12/2/11:
Chest/Back/Bis/Tris
Flat Bench: 305x5, 325x1
SS
Rows
Dips: 53x5, 70x6 (Kettlebell)
SS
Standing Dumbbell Curl: 55x6.5
Then…
I fucked around.

I’m seeing a trend here
You mean the chronic fuckarounditis? Hey, I finished my workout, I call it GPP

Press/Triceps:
-
Top Half (19) Seated Axle Press: 280x4.
-
Dumbbell Press: 95x8.
Lying Dumbbell Extension: 55x5.
12/9/11
Chest/Biceps:
Flat Bench: 300x4, 335x1, 315x2, 315x1, 315x1
Underhand Bulgarian Ring Pushups/Feet Elevated.
Biceps Curls.
Badass benching. The ring stuff sounds cool, similar to what they are doing over at the T-Nation lab boot camps at the moment, would be cool to have access to that sort of equipment…
12/11/11
Deadlifting:
Just did a million sets of Axle Deadlifts with 215 until my grip gave out.
12/16/11
Benching:
Got 305x5, and thought it was a max; then I attempted 340, and smashed it. Than 355. Than 365. I went to 380, and almost got it, but almost isn’t good enough. If I didn’t take so long, I could have had 385. Definitely gonna hit 405 in less than a week! Gonna have video when I do the 405.
Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. Since Sunday’s a Roman holiday (Saturnalia) masked as a phony religious holiday, I decided to deadlift today. Put 295 on the axle to do some stiff-legs. Did 56 for time, not that hard.
Miss 380 = 405 in less then a week. FML ? lol. Nice work
