Alright - day 1 done. We’re starting at 275.4lbs at 6’ tall, 38 years old.
We’ll do a 4 day split (chest/triceps, back/biceps, shoulders/abs/calves, quads/glutes/hams). 1-2 compound lifts worked in a 5x5/progressive overload fashion and lots of accessories and volume.
I just got a new fitbit and will likely just track steps, but have a desk job so I foresee a fair amount of structured cardio as well.
Will use Myfitnesspal to track calories and macros, and will keep the diet basic 2MAD and mostly keto-ish.
I’ve been lifting since high school and walk around with a fair amount of mass, but hate cardio and tend to just eat too much. Been a rough year, getting laid off, hustling (bouncing and consulting) to pay rent, and living in DC has not been fun. I start a new job on Monday and have some structure being reintroduced and some stress relieved. I look forward to this little project/science experiment, and start looking pretty again at 225-235lbs.
Best wishes to everyone completing the Topics tagged t-ransformation2026
