Join the Quest for a 495lb Deadlift!

I’m in. Current PR is 385.

I’ve been debating on whether or not I should join you guys in your quest for a 5 plate pull.
Screw it, I’m in. Current heaviest pull is 405 x 1 and current best weight for reps is 315 x 12 today.

I’m in, best pull to date was 455. Maybe by my meet in March?? :slight_smile:

Pulled 190kg for 3 for a 2 rep PR. Got ugly on the second two reps, bar was too far forward at the setup.

Im in. My conv is over 5 but my sumo is in the crapper. It was around 440 when I stopped training it to focus on getting ready for meet. Im also a short stocky guy with short arms so my sumo should be good acording to general opinion. Looking foward to breaking 5 with it

Pulled 465 in the gym on Saturday, looking at working on some week points think I can get 500 in the next couple of months

Deadlifted 190kg beltless (5kg PR), then belted up and got 200kg for a 10kg PR. Also default PR on deficit pulls, 140kg for 3 sets of 5

My pathetic 185 kg double. On this set I also managed to round my back on the 2nd rep and earned myself a slight erector tear. Wasn’t feeling it on this day, a PR nonetheless.

New guy here to the forum. I lift conventional, no belt, current 1RM is 455. Only been training deadlift for about three months but it’s become my favorite lift in the world. Goal is 5 plates by April.

Switched to Sumo and got 190 kg for a fairly easy single

My PR is still sitting at 210 kg/462 lbs. I feel as though my weakness has really been my drive off of the floor and have been running the Russian squat program for the second time these last six weeks. Haven’t done full deadlifts since mid-December thanks to this program, but am confident that I’ll get another 5 or 7.5 kg out of it. Hope to get up to 225 kg/495 lbs mid-year.

475 for 1rep today. Getting there, 455 was my previous 1RM set on 12/31. So I’m confident I’ll reach 495 by April.

I also hit 473lb/215kg for a new 1RM today. Come at me 495!

I finally joined the 500lb club! One of my main personal record goals and finally getting it. This has been a great week back in training since my last meet. Weighing in probably between 183-187lbs. Feels amazing to finally get this. Road to 600 is next!
