Towel pull-ups sound like a real bitch. Nice work.
They might have been the worst part of the day.

Thanks LS, I love them but I think they need to go.

Kimba, it was really nice but I have to admit 280 felt kind of heavy.

Eco, that may or may not be true but you are one strong mo-fo so its got to be harder to hit PR’s.

Sat.- Warrior dash training

3 mile run

8 sled sprints up and back

4 wheelbarrow up and backs

5,5,5,5,5 towel pull ups

stretching

It should go without saying that this sucked…
Good damn training. Do you have to go into the water at all? Towel pull ups are great for the grip and climbing.
Thanks hel, I need to get into the water pretty badly because I am a terrible swimmer but finding a place to fit it in has been problematic so far. I might have to do it Sat. mornings and then do my circuits in the afternoon.

Thanks guys, I kind of enjoy running that doesn’t go past 5k or so if they weather is nice and sunny.

Sunday

Two hours of flag football. It was cold as hell, raining, and there were massive puddles everywhere on the field. I got called for two roughing penalties, and one unsportsman like conduct. Not a good day all in all.

That sounds like the perfect day to me.
You are having way too much fun. I like it.

Yep… roughing and unsportsman-like penalties just show you care.

To a point

I know guys but a lot of these guys playing are 18-22 and they get mad when they get bumped around. Then they pitch fits at teh refs and slow the game down.

Cycle 6-Week 4-Day 1

Milies

5x60
5x75
5x90

3x10x90

Kroc Rows

2x16x70

Standing EZ Curls

3x14x70

Wow, deload weeks are boring as hell.

18 - 22 and whining because they get bumped around? Hell, they should be doing the bumping. I am really starting to worry about future generations.

Great job showing discipline and sticking with the deload.

lots of activity here, nice work as usual Joe…

big rack pulls, Prs, Big Squats, rough housing, what is going on Joe??

Good call. I wasn’t going to say anything, BUT… Increase in muscle mass, increase in strength, naked aggression (unsportsman-like and unnecessary roughness)…it all adds up

You aren’t kidding Strick, and because they are so damn annoying the 22-26 year old women are casting their nets farther afield as it were.

Thanks it really is boring as hell.

I’m going to go with lots of food and blind stinking luck.

Thanks Kevin, hug the baby for me.

GM’s

3x10x170

V-bar Press Downs

3x10x80

Joe, have you had to reset any of your maxes during these 6 cycles? I’m only going into my fourth wave, and just pulled down my squat a bit, and I’m betting my bench is next.

I haven’t reset anything yet, I’m going to try and keep going through this next cycle, cycle 7, and I’m probably going have to reset both my bench and Milies after that point. My deads and squats might have room to run yet.

Cycle 6-Week 4-Day 3

Bench

5x105
5x135
5x165

3x10x165

Rack Pulls

3x10x465

V-bar pull downs

3x10x150

I got a horrible headache while I was rack pulling. Its time for some asprin and maybe a shot or two of jager.

Mmmmm…Jager…

I can see how 465x10x3 could cause a headache…among other body parts.

Wait…was that on a deload day??
