Jay Or Brad?: Part II

http://images.t-nation.com/forum_images/./1/.1106801422325.1_Misc_Muscle_Man.JPG

Look…if we were all satified with where we are, this wouldn’t be much of a site, now would it? (LOL!)

Anyway…I thought that the “Who would you like to look most like; Jay Cutler vs. Brad Pitt” thread in the “Polling” section was pretty cool…but there weren’t many replies. So I’d thought start a Part II here.

First things first. FIRST AND FOREMOST, I WANT TO LOOK THE BEST THAT I CAN FOR MY GENETICS AND BODYTYPE! (Had to get that out of the way for the hack that was going to criticise the thread)!

So…men and ladies alike…what’s your goal? What real (not neccesarily famous) physique represents your ideal?(By the way, I’m in the “In between Jay and Brad” group).

Post a pic if you can! (I’m not sure who this Bodybuilder is…but he is sort of an “ideal” to me…):

Just another Bodybuilder that was pretty cool…

Mufasa

My Goal?

That elusive “X-Frame” that these two guys have in abundance!

Mufasa, this is the best body in my opinion. This is A work of art.

My goal is to look more along the lines of Eddie Abbew. I don’t desire to be much bigger than that. Ther are others that I might look up to but I feel I have the genetics to get closest to his overall size and shape.

VERY cool, guys!

I think that it’s interesting to see what everybody’s “ideal” is…

It would be pretty boring if we were all alike!

Mufasa

Prof brings up an important point…

REALISTIC goals are important (based mostly on our Bodytype and genetics…)

BUT…that doesn’t mean that others can’t inspire us…

I don’t think Jana would mind…

She posted this pic of Corey as her ideal…

Not training for looks… well, mostly anyway. I train for function, and on that note, I’d say the Shamrock brothers have what I train for.

That’s cool too!

We have a LOT of Powerlifters, Ultimate Fighters, Stongmen, Bicyclist, Football Players, Basketball players etc. on the site with goals beyond the esthetic…

It would be great to know who inspires them too!

Here’s who I want to look like eventually. Mariusz Pudzianowski.

Kinda what I’m going for.

As far as looks go I think that LL Cool J has a great looking body. I guess you could call that a goal. However, I participate in a lot of athletic activities, so my training is really more about that. So I’m not sure you could really call me a bodybuilder in that I consider aesthetic appeal to be a nice byproduct but not the goal.

If I had a pick a celled to look like though, he’d be the one. (Hmm… I kind of look like him anyway…)

JMB

I don’t know, Xen…

Seems like all forearms…no biceps!

(Better hit the Squat Rack!)

LOL!

Mufasa

Too bad I’m not 6’1, or anywhere near it.

I just wanted to add I don’t think the Jay vs. Brad thread got much action because your comparing basicly an underwear model (Read tall skinny guy with decent abs) vs. a walking lump of muscle (read: Drugged beyond belief and insane genetics to BOOT!)

My goal is form + function, trying to get into power lifting in a light weight class so being lean will be a good thing and I should keep adding functional mass. I don’t want to look like the preppy bitch who just does bench/bi’s, also if over the years my upper back ingulfs my kneck I wouldnt be unhappy.

I’d say Franco for me, not that I could ever get to the kind of strength he has/had but at 5’5" and 185lbs winning the olympia and looking damn good I think that at or just above that weight ripped would be ideal for me at 2" taller.

Dream dream lol

JMB you doo look like ll cool j

Hahahaha, the first thing I thought was that you put a picture of yourself.

(lucky asshole, hehe)

Anyway, this (our very own CT) would be my goal aesthetically… I want to compete in some O-lift events too but that along with fighting seems a bit too scatter brained.

(by the way is it just me or CT seem to have a boner in that pic…or should I not even be looking)

Oh yea and a back like this…

i have to say dan john’s transformation program actually did make my back explode with power AND size.

ALL of my lifts went up (i didn’t bench at all on that program for about 8 weeks and my bench went up 15lbs).

Check it out:

i would agree that CT’sripped look is something that i would like to have in the future. dont worry about looking at his package, the fact that hes looking strait at it makes you look to.
