I think I’ve seen this show before

Chushin, what was this thread about again?

I believe something about general japanese awesomeness and a bit of their popculture.

I plead innocent on this charge, sir, I only wanted to share some great Japanese tunes. Though I am still stunned by the gameshow the other guy posted. What would Alex Trebek think??

It’s entirely relevant to the thread. It could very well be that the hikikomori phnomenon is linked to the fact that Japanese men know that they will likely see more young Japanese boobage by staying in their rooms watching game shows than they ever would under any other circumstances.

I guess.

Or maybe the sight of a woman dumb enough to go on TV to show that she can put her pants on while simultaneously holding her tits is enough to convince them to stay in their rooms.
How many Japanese males do you personally know, under the age of forty, who, if confronted with a televised image of an attractive young woman trying to bounce her sweat pants up her thighs and onto her ass while grabbing her bare tits, would conclude that society is just too weird to participate in?

Just for the sake of your entertainment, here are a couple of my favorite videos on game show crazyness in Japan.

I love how they have an obsession with short skirts and panties

For the sake of lacking lesbian action in this thread

Enjoy.

Quiet warrior, bringing back the old sex and the male animal board.

Stupid Japanese game variety shows and female on female action can both be awesome, but Jesus Christ I hope people don’t read this and think these things are broadcast on prime time TV and the majority of Japanese watch them.

Variety in general can really be hit or miss, depending on who’s participating and the subject at hand. Most things with Sanma-san are good shit tho.

Hah, I can’t imagine the way they would pitch that to a studio exec when they are trying to get it funded. “Dude, picture it, two words: Lesbians and Lesbians”.

I’ve always wanted to open a old English-style ale-house for lesbians in Japan. I’d call it (in English) “The Chestnut and Squirrel”. Just for the people who would get the joke.

Shit. A quick googling shows me that it’s been done.

I used to work in Shinjuku, and I made that joke several times to my lesbian friends long before that club actually opened, so it is not inconceivable that I had something to do with it. Shoulda copyrighted the name and registered the web domain back in 2000.

Sutebun, unfortunately people tend to generalise a lot, although I believe the west is not much better.
I mean we have shows like fear factor where people are eating animal dicks, drinking semen and dipping their heads in animal blood.
That’s pretty fucked up as well.

Varqanir you are a legend.
Up from this day and age you may call yourself a legend Sir, hats off! lol

Honestly it took me a while with my crappy japanese to get it but that joke is damn good.

I never thought somebody would call a lesbian bar after a pun on female anatomy.

I found surimi crab sticks in my fridge today that my mum bought without me knowing that she’d bought them, I think that’s the closest I’ve been to Japanese culture in a long time, maybe ever.

Ha ha.

Yeah, I was here when 500 yen came as a bill, and the foreign registration “card” was a little brown book.

And you’d be shocked to know the stuff that I don’t know about Western pop culture anymore.

A while back, I asked my niece who Justin Bieber was, and she laughed at me. :-(
I envy you. I would give a lot to not know who Justin Bieber is.
That’s the great thing about living in Asia, you can tailor how much shitty annoying pop culture stuff you hear about.
I mean last time I was back in Canada it was when Kim Kardashian married some guy for 47 days…I remember it was 47 days because it was mentioned all over the place.
It helps even with stuff like the Oscars…I’ll see that it’s coming up soon thanks to the internet, but at least you don’t hear about it 50 times a day for a month beforehand.
