Japanese Men Refusing to Leave their Rooms

Jesus Christ.

Best translation mayhap ever.

I’m totally stealing this haha.

Its also great because most Japanese probably know chestnut, but since squirrels don’t seem to exist in Japan they don’t know the E-J translation as much. Can totally see the conversation playing out as they slowly piece together the phrases.

…Japanese is an extremely nuanced language, with circumlocution practically built in. The thing is, without being able to speak deeply with your Japanese acquaintances in their native language, it’s going to be very difficult to understand who they are in real life. In other words, who they are when you don’t see them through a filter of their English, or your inexpert Japanese…

Beautifully put.

American woman goes to Japan, is completely invisible in dating scene.

Very common here. The vast majority of my married friends are men with Japanese wives. Of everyone I know, I can only think of three couples were the husband is Japanese and the wife isn’t.

Hmmm. Wonder why this could be. Wonder wonder wonder.

A Japanese friend of mine once said that his definition of success was multinational: Japanese wife, German car, Italian cuisine, French wine… and an American salary.

I know very, very few Japanese men who want American girlfriends or wives. My friend and English student ended up marrying a British girl, but that’s different.

Ha! Surprisingly accurate.

I’ve seen lots of single white women in Taiwan. They usually don’t want a Taiwanese boyfriend and other foreign guys well, we didn’t drive all the way to Chinatown for a hamburger did we.

The combination of American Whales (Most Adult Women over 30) and the RESIDUAL effects of the ‘‘Womens Liberation’’
movement decades ago truly fucked up the relationships between the sexes here…What’s sadder is there are VERY few
Japanese Women in the U.S…Why is that?
I met ONE barely legal Japanese Girl here not long ago…lol…damn she treated me good, she looked at me
like I was ‘‘there’’ if that makes any sense…fairly outgoing, sweet, and smart as fuck…such a rarity, what an EGO boost
man, a person of the opposite sex who treats like you’re a human being.
TOTALLY unlike an American Woman who mostly just ignore you, or look at you with suspicion,
I HATE that bullshit…I’ve had it with women from the states, DONE!..Unless I pay them by the hour to satisfy my needs.
Heh…I blame their unfounded suspicions on their liberal mothers who teach them they need NO man
in their lives…And WHAT IS UP with all these excessive TATS on American Women now???
Tats, Bad attitudes, uncared for Muffin Topped bodies on these ladies now…GAG!

I agree with you karado. Why get yourself a 75kg+ bitchy western women who is running her mouth all day , looks like a baked whale and considers it normal to take control over your life “cuz you don’t know what a real man is like” if you can go with the total opposite? A nice, slim women who is accepting her role as a female (not a guy with a vajj).

On top of that, the fucking muffin top look in western women…
Coming from a guy who is living in europe’s fattest country (right after the UK) these words carry weight.

Frank Yang once put it correctly. Western girls might be nice in their teens and early twenties but from age 25 it’s all going downhill. “In college and high school fuck as many white chicks as you can and later on go with asian women”
Last year in Osaka I met a chick who is a couple of years older than me. We went out to party with her friends and ended up in bed. She occasionally called me after my departure and I started learning japanese. This year when i was in Tokyo she took a couple of days off just to spend some time with me and play guide. And it’s not like she is some Iero kyabu. She had appearances on national TV (yes I have asked her for videos as proof) and took an enormous risk by going out with me. Her contract is forcing her to shield any kind of relationships from the public.

So when my “friends” here ask me why I never go to the local water hole to get myself a “girlfriend” for more than a night I always laugh my ass off. Poor misguided guys, they don’t know what they are missing.

I swear even the average jgirl beats our western shemale women in sweetness and femininity with ease. Heck even the mixed american-japanese women I met beat them!
To all those T-Nation gaijin living in Japan: You can consider yourself lucky. I’d take your place anytime.

Showed it to my wife. She laughed her arse off.

They’re pretty but I don’t think I’d be content with a Japanese girlfriend longterm.

I find large expressive eyes lead to deeper conversations.

I still say Russian girls are the best.

Korea… but the same thing happens in a lot of places. I thought that was a good collection of before/after shots.

Everyone seems to want anime eyes and/or double lids.

Yeah it is odd. I know plenty of people into the East Asian subcultures (myself included), but I’ve never seen eyes like that up close. I’d probably feel a bit uncomfortable dependent upon the circumstances. I’m not sure if all those are legit, but I’m sure some of them are.

Bwaaahahahaha! Now there is a term I haven’t heard in a long time.

Yes, we call your affliction “iero fiibaa”. There ain’t no cure.

Most of those are photoshopped and/or not the same person.
