Good lifting James! So are you going to get your son his own weight set?
29 Oct
Squats: 5135, 185, 225, 285
Bench: 8175, 195, 210, 210. 10210
Pull ups: 5 sets
Pendlay rows: 55235
Curls: 3 sets of 55lbs
Tricep push downs: 3870
DB rows: 38*140
Solid session today. Increased the weight on the rows and will do so again during my next session. I added DB rows in the mix and removed DB press.

Cav - He’s three so I’ve got a few years. But he does drag the sled…

Serious volume in here. Pullups and Pendlays AND db rows!?
Impressive work James.

Squats: 5135, 185, 225. 28250. 110250
Step ups: 38*45
Walking lunges
I was really happy with my form on squats today. I really concentrated on keeping my chest high and these felt really good. Looks like all of the practice is helping out. I reduced the weight on my step ups and really worked on form and keeping my knee from going past my feet. Walking lunges were done unweighted as I get used to the movement.

Thanks Andrew. I’ve always been a fan of getting a lot of work for my back in.

Nice work James 250x10 is sick!

Squats: 5135, 185, 225, 290
Deads: 28335. 110*335
GM: 135, 185, 225
Quick night session today. It was short but really productive. I did the deads double overhand so yay me for increasing my grip strength. I also upped the weight on my good mornings.
james
You’re a squatting fool these days, I like it. How do you like the high rep deads?
Yeah, I’m definitely squatting a lot and I don’t think that I’ve suffered from doing that at all. I hate high rep deads. Truly hate them but it’s what the program calls for so I’m a good little boy and that’s what I do.
james
it is allot of squats-
good work
Thank you sir!

Squats: 5135, 185, 225, 275. 3315
Bench: 5135, 3185, 2205, 1215, 11230
Pull ups: 4 sets
Pendlay rows: 55255
db Curls: 38*50
Went out with some friends last night and enjoyed too much IPA. My training went well but I’m pretty worn out. I’ll definitely sleep well tonight.
I got 11 with 230 which is 3 more than I was aiming for and 1 more than I thought I would. This was a total failure set and I got the 12th rep halfway up and that was it. Rows went well and I upped the weight on them.

Squats: 5135, 175. 3210, 2240, 1260. 15 *275
Walking lunges: 3 sets of 20 yards
Lot’s of foam rolling and stretching
Realization phase is brutal. I nailed 15 reps on the last “to failure” set and I’m pretty happy about that. Looking back at all of my old training logs shows that I’ve never done that before. These reps felt great too with decent depth and no pain at all.
I did some walking lunges to end the session and that was it.
james
275 x 15 is good stuff. That would hurt. Are you doing those straight or taking any pauses?
your just “realizing” that, super work bro!
15 reps at 275 is insane. Great effing work.

Cheers, they are pretty straight through. I take a couple of seconds between reps 10 - 12. And 13 - 15 were a good 5 seconds between each one.

Thanks Matty and Joe! I do appreciate the support. I definitely got well more than I thought I would get. I can see why he wrote the program the way that he did because the early high rep cycles really help boost your work capacity.
