hope you are good.

I will be back posting soon, going through very hard personal time so training has been basically ‘dust’, but that is starting to change. Love y’all

Big hug. 'Ya big lug.

Wish you the best Pete. Hang tough.

Pete I hope everything is doing ok for now.

We are all here if you need us for moral support or just to chat with.

Rick

Hope all is well.

Hugz sent to you Pete, and Holy RDL, seriously WOW!

coming back. slowly but surely. dealing with new life going through divorce I didn’t want, realizing the gym is still my place of solace. training and diet has been absolute shit for the last six months but reigning that in. making the most out of life with a network of friends I developed as a young punk back in the eighties, still love the music, the agression, the laughs, and everything else. also focusing very very hard on my relationship with my two young sons, and being there for them every fucking moment I can.

training for now is very bb’esque. physically and time wise I can’t commit to pl for awhile. so the objective is to build/maintain muscle, get health back under control, and look better while maintaining a very flexible training schedule

today’s training

bike 20 min

nautilus pullover worked up to 3 hard sets of 8

bent row, yates style 135 x 15, 225 x 10, 315 x 8, x 9, 225 x 20

v grip pulldown 4 warm up sets then 4 sets of 8-10 with 250

hammer high row 4 x 10-12

db shrugs 3 x 15 w/125s

wrist curls 4 x 20

thanks Up, you are looking great as always

I have been wondering how you have been Pete, hang in there!

Sorry to hear about the turmoil in your life Pete and wish you smooth sailing from here on in.

Been thinking about you this summer and wondering how everything was going for you. Oof. A rough path. But I know you will persevere.

These kind of changes can be very traumatic. Glad to see you finding some solace in the iron and with friends but most importantly being there with your sons. Hope you make it through well and find some peace.

Sorry to hear that Pete, hope things just get better from here on out.

Sorry about the news Pete. Stay strong, sounds like you’ve a good support system and plan.

between all the old shoulder injuries, real pressing is being left alone, focusing on machines until I can get back to a place wth a football bar, chains, etc. plus last few weeks have had serious tendinitis flare up, which makes dumbell stuff painful

hammer flat bench 3 warm up sets then 4 x 10 w/275

hammer incline 135 x 10, 225 x 10, 315 x 8, 365 x 8, 315 x 12, 225 x 25

pec dec 3 x 10
neutral press on nautilus 3 x 12

machine lateral 6 x 10-12
nuetral overhead on nautilus 6 x 8-10

two long days ahead, bailed for dinner and rest

I thought a little Rancid might lighten the mood in here.

Welcome back Pete. I’ve eaten my fair share of life’s shit sandwiches. You’ll get through this.
