i don’t know about the snatches… my guess would be that you might be over-driving it (hip banging too hard). but i don’t know… be interested to hear what others say. the bar path might help. if there is a big swing out arc of the bar then i guess that means hip bumping too hard. or something about shrugging the traps to pull the bar up rather than having it go out… i dunno.

I almost didn’t workout tonight but at 9:30 I decided what the hell and did some front squats, and then I got a pr I think I had another in the tank but I stopped at 175. The shoes RULE. This is my first front squats since getting them and they sure make me feel sturdy! I think my pr was 160 or 165 before (my record keeping is poor) but yay! Back squats almost everyday is helping a lot too I think.
I like bacon too, but Denny’s came out with a Bacon sundae that doesn’t appeal to me ;(
I don’t think I will ever have the guts to try it. Probably because I don’t even like ice cream, but if I did, I still can’t imagine it.

Soft serve is different to me. For some reason, I love frozen yogurt and apparently, soft serve.
I also like ice cream if it’s on a cone. Most of the time I’ll have someone else eat the ice cream part though, and I’ll just eat the chocolate and sprinkle covered cone =)

-did a halting snatch deadlift (or two) before a bunch of sets of snatches and it was MUCH better. Thank you for the tip Andy! Damn it’s hard to be consistent with them though.
I finally got the 80# snatch back. Sheesh! I don’t know why that was so hard. It’s all in my head I think. The first video are the 80’s Not the best. The second video are the others.

I had bacon and eggs for dinner actually. I don’t know about the sundae. I might be willing to try it, but I don’t know what to expect. I’ve tried chocolate covered bacon and it was good.
