These haven’t felt this good in a long time. I’ve been SSB box squatting on the weekends and I think it’s paying off
Bench:
-Moved my grip out and felt really strong there
-Reached for the 8, didn’t have a spotter, and almost got pinned. This was not smart. On a positive note, it was a really good way to fully understand the importance of leg drive.
General:
-Tweaked my back yesterday picking up a shirt off the floor. Yep, not deadlifting 225 the day before, but picking up a shirt. Fortunately, it only hurts when I step with my left leg, sit longer than a few minutes, or lay down. The rest of the time it’s pretty solid.
-Went to the school gym so insert your douchiest gym story here_________________
-Supersetting was near impossible. I was this > < close to peeing on whatever I was working on to mark my territory.

Awesome benching and squatting. We went to a commercial gym yesterday too and I always enjoy the show. The best one for me was the guy doing dips from the other side of the dip stand because, he told us, he likes to watch himself in the mirror. I guess that isn’t a big deal, lots of people do but it was really kind of funny the way he said it.
