Im assuming the sprint work is for leaning out? I like it too, nothing over 400m though… Like them after some ham work…Let me know when the showing of the clean and snatch is…

Eh. Not really for leaning out, though that’s a pretty baller side effect. I time them and try to be faster. Right now I’m kinda chasing performance goals as opposed to losing weight.

At first I was like “Dayum, nice work” and then I saw 5K later and I got a sad. Then I laughed, because that’s so fucking awesome, and I’m jelly.
No fucking joke 5x5 80 OHP.
Damn.
I OfficiLly vote for HSP video.
Wiggs!! How are you? How’s the lady? And the training? Any strongman stuff coming up? My fella is looking into a NAS event in Paducah but may hold off until may for one in st. Louis area

Dash! I’m doing well, as is the lady. She missed a 25K today due to some IT band issues, but I’m working on those. Training is going, motivation is kinda low right now with a tough rotation I have but I’m making it work. I’m doing a contest weekend of May 12, either Beasts of the Bluegrass (if I can lift some of the weights o.O) but more likely Shreveport’s Strongest Man. Then I’ll be doing Arkansas’ Strongest Man June 30th.
One of the guys we train with is doing the Paducah show. Which is funny because my dad is actually from there.
Looks like you are still kicking ass over here. I’ll have to make sure and follow.
Oh! The bluegrass one! He did that one in 2008 when he was under 200lbs. I think he might have won it, then. We will have to keep in touch and see if we do the same ones!

Deal! And winning that show is no joke. The weights this year are nuts. For me at least. Sounds like you found yourself a strong fella, haha.
Lol I recall that for women, the OH medley STARTS at 135 and stops at 175…lol who can do that?!
Your pretty badass and I see do some strong people stuff.
Have you seen this?

I think it is pretty awesome that they are doing this to and will be competing in the mens class… Here is a link to a list of the qualifiers http://americanstrongman.com/?p=4165
The entry is up for the first one in Orlando. Its not light but any means its still strong (wo)man
That strongman fitness looks pretty sweet! I’ve been gearing towards strongman stuff a bit these days and am in the same boat…sitting at about 135, some of the #s are simply ridiculous!
Good luck with all your comps coming up!
Kalle–this is awesome! Do you have a log somewhere? I’d love to follow. One of my guy friends that was really into NAS got out of it because he said training events drained him so much. Do you have a particular training schedule?
Lula–check out the link kalle posted! The women’s weights look doable. I’m sure we would still be on the lighter end of the competition at 135 but fun all the same. I am not defined by winning a trophy.
