Oleena—if spaced out enough, it’s not bad. The crossfit stuff sucks, of course but it was a good 6 hours in the past before my bench workout came in. Felt good.
Mainy?–I just want powerful haunches like yours!!
Lula— my schedule does get crazy but luckily I work in a weight room. We even have a scheduled workout break. I don’t know how I would keep up if I had a different career path.
Aaaaaand for hallie and lula, here’s my schedule of events…

CROSSFIT
–Open is February 22nd-March 25th. Weekly workouts will be taped at the local affiliate and sent to crossfit HQ. top 60 athletes in each region go to regionals
–regionals are a three day competition taken place sometimes to be announced between April 27-may 27. top 3 women advance to games, top 3 teams advance.
—games (if we advance) are July 13-15.
POWERLIFTING
—nothing huge. I’m going to jump into a meet on March 17th.

I had a stab at Crossfit a few years ago but I ended up burning myself out big time. My body just couldn’t recover quickly enough and I ended up sick all the time.
Hall—we have a guy on staff at work that is Mister Oly Technique and I have been wanting to ask him for help for months! I finally did and it was a hella good idea. We went through a ton of technique drills with very low weight (35kg). We are going to make this a regular thing. I CANNOT WAIT TO SHOW YOU MY CLEAN SNATCH!!!l yay for those panties!
Twisty—not as a kid/teen as my high school did not have a track team. I did play soccer which got me moving pretty quick. Sprints/Oly are something I picked up my freshman year of college. I often abandon Oly lifting but loooove sprint work.
Cal—I hear ya! It can burn you out. Right now I’m trying to hit three cf workouts/week. I’m hitting a 531ish program 4x/week.
as for the hspu’s, yes!!! I was super happy with this. I have been using a band harness on these for a bit to get the full ROM and I finally weaned off the bands for extended sets
