Is your hip flexor still keeping you from running? I know TKEs are generally helpful for knees, but I’m pretty sure they helped me with my hip flexor problems too.

Sorry I’m hit or miss lately, folks. Suuuuper busy with random things. Work has me outta pocket most days and updating from my ipad takes fooooreva! But I’m going to try. Workouts have been good, sans running. This was max out week for me on 5/3/1. I’m trying to clean up some form issues now before I create really bad habits. Not a bad week, all in all. For bench, I had Godzilla/man friend give me my press commands and check into my form. I ended up getting 120x4 with pauses, so yay! Not a weight PR, and I don’t think a rep PR but I do think it’s the cleanest I have done as far as controlling the weight. Deadsies were the same…225x4…I got a 5th, but it had some considerable back rounding so I’m not letting myself count those. Friday is squatsies. Looking forward to a fun de-load.

Lingerie show was super duper fly! I’ll post a little picture or something when I’m back to my computer. From that, I got booked for a photo shoot in San Antonio! Whooot! Not really what I expected to happen, but I am not turning it down. Decent skilla.

Nadia–omg yes! I tried a little running last week and same thing happened! I will do hanging leg raises and see if that helps. I did a prowler workout last week that didn’t bother it nor does squats…just the repetitiveness of running, I suppose. Sprints floor me, even. Thanks for the hanging leg raise tip!

Yesterday I worked out with my buddies at the crossfit box. Not to toot my own horn, but I SMOKED the workout.

Then we did some 45second planks/side planks (4 rounds)

Um. No workout for today. Went out last night and ate some absolute bullshit. DON’T CARE! Once a month, me and a bunch of my girl friends go out on a random weekday night. We also wound up at 80s night at some hole in the wall bar. So fun. Despite my shitty eating, I feel slightly redeemed by my FIERCE display of dance skills to Michael Jackson/Madonna/b-52s. Surely dancing my ass off with a bunch of crazies in leotards expended some of those calories. Tonight I have a little datesie.

Tomorrow, though, it’s on. Tomorrow I am ALLLLLL over max effort squats.

Main—fuck yes. I do a lot of dancing in my undies. The house I just bought has hardwood floors, which is perfect for my Tom-Cruise-In-Risky-business impersonation.

Ummm…quick summary. Did some squats. Had biggie give squat commands for a set of 5 with 185. Felt good.
Now I’m in dasher deload time, which consists of all the fun shit I couldn’t fit in my workouts during 531 and lotsa plyos.

Sad news: my step dad is very very ill and is having an 8 hour surgery tomorrow as a last ditch effort to keep him up and running. As a result of his surgery, he will no longer be able to speak as the surgery requires his vocal chords to be severed and he will have a feeding tube as the surgery will also cost him his tongue. Very sad for my mother. She has been through a lot.
