 you are the best, buggie

YAY!! Congrats on the training studios! You are the shiz, bitch!

I hope you open a studio here in NYC - that way I can be all “Yeah, I know the owner. I’m like, this close to moving into her house…”

Nice on the hand-stand pushups! I can barely do one. Those are stupid hard! I like that little sesh. Might have to steal it - I’ll just replace that handstand pushups…

This.

Maschy— thats actually reallllly not outta the question. I was just up in that neck of the woods (well, Syracuse) last week talking to some folk about doing just that  There is lotsa Dasher in your future! As for those Handstand pushups: I started out with a roaring set of 6, then chippered from there. That took me foreeeevvverrr. You can decrease the angle or do decline pushups if you’d like…still fucking hard as balls.

Rod—I know, I know…dang ole injuries are always keepin the man down!

Hallie— <3

OKAY…so…I have quite a bit on my plate, but I am going to throw a little more on. One of my buddies asked if I would be interested in being on his CF team and trying to get to the games next year. I think yes. I dont belong to an affiliate but I think that, if nothing else, it would be fun. I need to switch up my shit a little bit, too. SO…the way 2012 is looking is:

January: start a more detailed diet, post progress peeectures/measurements.
late february: CF open
April/May: CF open
late April: bikini/figure show (still undecided which…had a guy this week tell me that I should definitely do figure, which was the opposite of what I was thinking)
June/July sometime: CF games (if we make it that far…I might go just for kicks if we dont make it, and pit stop to see my Hallie pants while I’m in Cali)

This morning:
21-18-15-12-9-6-3
-Squat Cleans
-Double Unders
-Pull ups
-HR pushups

then…
10x100m sprints (30 second rest interval)

Oh Jesus, CF Games is hardcore. Those bitches are nails. But, judging by your workouts, you can likely hold up very well. Your workouts would leave me sobbing in a pool of my own sweat, tears and vomit.

Cal—we will see. CF can be intimidating for sure, but if you start off by scaling and working your way towards the workout as it written, it can be rewarding. I have kinda strayed from CF in the last year or so, but it was my bread and butter for a while. Competing at a higher level with it actually requires training your weaknesses, so it’s humbling. I have always veered off of CF when I am dieting, which is my main concern. Having a show close to regionals might be tricky.

I would like to compete one of these days…maybe…i have to work on my diet though. I know that’s holding me back. I eat like caca sometimes.

so cool!!

JLO—do any of the gyms in your area have “mini games” or affiliate wars or anything? That’s always a low stress way to get your competition fix. Ours does something ever few months or so and they are ridiculous amounts of fun. Literally no down side
