Squats: Mess around a lot with squats today. I think I am going to do 135 for a widow maker next week to see how it goes. I did a billion sets of a billion. Worked up to 155x10 again for 2 sets. Knocked it down to 135 and got 15ish before I decided to kick back some.
Yesterday mornin:
B1) Hack squat 4x8 3pps <—okay…honestly…I hate this thing. It doesnt feel good and I mean that in a bad way. I think I will be x-ing it from my rotation.
B2) Push Press 95lbsx4x8
C1) Leg Press 4pps 4x10
C2) Lateral raises 4x10 <—saw some cutesie shoulder striations during this. Wee!
D1) KB rear delt flys 4x10 <----yesssss…this felt awesome.
D2) Leg extention 4x10 <rotated toes out.
E1) Front squat 115x4x8
E2) Frontal Raises 4x8
F1) Alternating Lunges 95lbsx4x8/leg
F2) Lean away cable laterals 4x10
Today:
Rucked 8 miles with 35lb sack. Slowish pace: 5.5mph Kind of a work obligation.

3 Plats on Hack Squats is retardo strong!
Before you x them… consider trying them unilateral… to me thats the main advantage of the hack squat makes one legged work more doable.
HaHa yes I might as well suggest you add some bulgarian split squats (a gift to the world from Satan himself) I just love you that much.

Random question but why do you rotate your toes out on leg extensions? I ask because most of my focus on extensions/leg curls is keeping my feet in line with my shins and not letting them flare.

We are doing a little experiment so this morning I did some mind-muscle stuff for 30ish minutes…will talk about this more at a later date. Went back to my normal job then worked out at night. Ah.
A1) Bench 105x4x8 <----omg. Had a college friend come into town today. She weighs what I do but benched 205 for a single.

Greg, aside from the handles coming out, you can disassemble the part where the “T” joint is. Unscrew those two “nuts” from the “bolts” that hold the crossmember in place, and it’s broken down further. That’s what I do, and keep a wrench/socket in the trunk to tighten it back together.
It’s so easy, even a sailor could do it ![]()
