IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!! My Muscle Car

finally, i have finished the re-build of my 351 cleveland 4v for my 70 cougar. it has taken almost a year(started in nov. of 05) to put together the funds to re-build that expensive bitch, but i finally get to pick it up from the dyno shop tommorow. hooray for me.hopefully it won’t explode or anything on the way home tommorrow

p.s. i know it’s not exactly the right site for this, but i figured muscle car…muscle people…close enough.

Photo’s my man, you must get some photos.

Congrats BTW too.

Yeah, man – you know the drill.
Show us the wheels!

(After you’ve got her home, and have spent some quality time with her, of course. Congrats, dude.)

I second that.

Good job my man…mazel mazel…but being a car guy myself I have to ask, did you do the work yourself?

i think this one is gonna be too small for anybody to really see, i’ll have to get some better ones in the near future.

Photos of the engine por favor. Also dyno results once you have it broken in. Hey lets hear the details. Carb or injected, compression, manifold…all the good stuff. Oh yea, congratulations!!! That is awsome! Cars are defniately an extension of my penis…I love it.
What else are you going to do? Suspension? brakes? Keep it clean on the outside, no retarded bling and NO SPINNERS!

This made me laugh out loud…

And you have to post that dyno sheet, too.

ni i did’nt do the work myself. there was too much of it.seeing as i moved away from all my family/friends i don’t have shit for tools now, daddy had them all. i have a handfull of wrenches, a socket set and some screwdrivers. not enough to swap a cam, lifters, timing chain, and all the other stuff replaced on the way back out. all in all i have a new cam, lifters, springs, timing chain, fuel pump, carb, intake man, harmonic balancer, and water pump. i think thats it. i did however change all the front suspension components myself, upper and lower control arms, springs, ball joints, shocks, and added a new 1" addco swaybar to the front and a 3/4" to the rear.that stuff i can do with limited tools, but getting i the motor is too risky with limited resources. it cost me shitload though, about 2.5k parts and labor.

Ah ha! Someone to challange once I finish the monster. I’ve got a 1970 Chevelle SS w/ a 454. I’ve working on with my neighbor for about a year and it has really come along. Unfort my time at college takes up most of the time I had to work on it, oh well it will be worth the wait. Well back to class…again.

the camera is charged and ready, but i lost the dang link cable to my pc, best buy here i come.the outside is a whole new story. my girl was driving the car last year in the rain, and some cock smoker pulled out of a driveway in front of her(in the rain to top it off). she slammed on the brakes and turned to avoid him, but she did’nt clear the passenger rear quarter panel.

now i have no bumper, no passenger taillight housing, and a nice 2ft dent in the rear/side. after that i just said fuck the outside, when she is doing a wheel stand nobody is gonna notice that shit anyways. so now she is all about speed, thats her new goal in life.

ultimatley once i have enough power i might go towards a trans-am style look. i just met a friends of a good friend who builds rol cages.300-2k depending on what i want. i might go with the 2k and get cage from the engine bay to the trunk. like the trans am cars had. i think i should just rob a bank so i can pay for all this shit, the suspense is killing me. oh yea, 750 holley, 12.5:1, torker ntake.

I drive over your little car…

Motor head here as well, good job. I am building a 58 chevy apache pick up to race in the NHRA.(Super gas)It will run 9.0sec. at 150mph in the 1/4 mile when done, its powered by 475 big block chevy on alcohol.

I’d jerk your bumpers off, and take your axle.

i’m actually having withdrawls right now, i’m about to go watch a boxing match but all i can think about is going home to drive around.of course my tags expired in 05 so i need to take care of that, and the insurance. the drive home was fantastic, a little nerve racking seeing as i have not had the alignment done yet, and i just changed all that suspension. other than that, it’s great.
