hmmm got in a quick “cardio” session day before yesterday…

back squat: 120 x 8

yesterday had a loooong day at work and passed out on the couch i was so pooped. also had a headache so think i may be trying to catch a damn cold. uppin the zinc n fruit intake.

man i usually have no problem with energy levels, but they are absolute SHIT this morning. coffee didn’t help at all. cals and carbs have been low… but i plan to eat my fair share the next couple of days.

i don’t think i’ve ever experienced a dl workout that didn’t get my energy levels sky high. today it just didn’t do it. just feel flatlined energy wise. guess low cals and an imminent cold will do that to ya. funny how insanely rare that low energy feeling is for me. lol

shoulder mobility
bb bench press: 60 x 8; 90 x 6; 115 x 3; 125 x 2; 125 x 2; 120 x 2; 120 x 2; 120 x 2; 90 x 12, 12

I need to low carb etc it too but am sputtering. Not to be TOOO much of a Deja swooner however I can’t help it! I know everyone’s differant but you consistently have stable power in your strength while cutitng. I would love some suggestions! what kinda cardio’in ?

lol i consider those db swings and fsqs to BE cardio. but i’m kinda an anticardioite.

as far as food…u’re asking the girl who worships bacon and craft beer don’t forget. lol

i find that when i’m going low calorie the quality becomes really important… and sticking to mostly fat/protein/veggies w carbs around workouts is the easiest way i’ve found to still get quality without many calories.

ummmm as far as what i eat… i get where i eat the same thing for a few weeks and then switch. pretty much any meal that starts with diced bacon and onions sauteeing in a pan is me on a fatloss kick lol. lots and lots of sauteed veggies (mushrooms, peppers, broccoli, onions, bacon haha) and then just whatever meat i feel like throwing in there. steak, chicken, shrimp, whatever. lots of srirachi on everything.

i also eat a lot of cheese, try to get in fruit most days, stay really on top of the supps, and try to get at least 140 grams of protein.

you can’t be scared of eating lots and lots of fat.

i use low carb tortillas sometimes. take wraps to work for convenience (something like chicken breast, bacon, avocado, feta, spicy ranch, tomato, lettuce). cottage cheese, chorizo and eggs, lots of salmon n tilapia, pwo smoothie (strawberries, blueberries, cottage cheese, water, protein powder, maybe oats), those are some of my usuals.

short n sweet. left me huffin like a fool. now for a few minutes of football before work.

this kicked my ass. leaning out for sure. should probably up calories for a couple days to get energy levels back up.

have kept nutrition super on track all week. now for a couple days off of work. yay!

deja darling, I can’t support calling kettlebell swings cardio, unless you do them on a treadmill. :slight_smile:

stoked with the pullups. bw is still around 138 so that’s pulling 158 and my upper back has been sore after the pullups earlier in the week.

I feel like ass before Flo shows up, and sometimes that PMS lasts a whole week. Sucks. If ever I feel like I can’t be arsed to go to the gym, I check the calendar and yeah, Flo’s due soon. The bitch.

what a shitty week. yesterday’s nutrition was ok but i let myself rage and feel a lot of stress, which is probably worse for my body than 17 lbs of junk food, so no point.

woke up with a horrible migraine so i stayed in bed most of the day. finally drug myself up to eat something and get in a short workout. soooo didn’t want to, but i knew it’d help in the long run.

scale’s stayed right around 138 for the last month. fine with me. i’m definitely losing fat and strength levels are staying consistent and on an upward trend, so worrying about a number would be absurd. work pants went from barely buttonable to now needing a belt to stay up. it’s going well.

just need that flo bitch to show up. have been spotting for three freakin weeks and hormonal as hell.

anyways… life is good. my head will be back out of my ass any minute.
