nutrition’s been good. finally pulled my head out of my ass after getting in a blah/negative place last week.
for me it’s pretty much half mental and half just making myself go through the motions of doing the right things to feel better even when they sound like the last things on earth i wanna do.
and i finally reminded myself that if you want the good things in life you’ll never get them by focusing on the bad. period.
got in a quick workout…
hip mobility
bb fsq: 60 x 8; 90 x 5; 125 x 3; 145 x 1, 1, 1
low handle trap bar deadlift from deficit (plates): 140 x 8; 210 x 6, 6
short and sweet. just trying to get back to feeling good and positive and on top of the world.

yes. this. as cliche as it is, the fake it til you make it thing always worked for me too. glad you’re in a better spot.

pullups (pronated grip): bw x 8
been keeping the nutrition in check on work days. slowly leaning out. want this for the long term so just have to keep on trucking and enjoy the nice, slow, snailpaced progress.
forcing in workouts when i can…but have absolutely no free time lately.
yah i am CERTAINLY dreaming of summer. and since winter skipped us so far up here i’m feelin lucky. sure it can still hit us hard…but at least it’s not gonna be four straight months of it. yay!

two night shifts, a day and a half off, then rotate to the new schedule. at least it’s sposed to be finalized that way by wednesday. i’ll believe it then. my hopes are DEFINITELY up though.
