Thanks DZ - problem is that laying off exercises make it worse because of the other factors. My work is primarily on the computer and that is the most probably the root cause of the issue.
Last night - Wado class: stiff and sore
today - travel again for this week and maybe thru the end of the month. I’ll find out Thursday evening after our “Red Team” review of the proposal.
Bring a miniband witcha so’s you can get that shoulder in shape…[/quote]
Did that skid - but the plane ride screwed with my back somethin’ fierce yesterday. I can barely walk and it’s painful to sit - just what I f’n need…
Hang in there Soldog and this shit will come to pass as well. Really sorry to hear you’re being plaqued with pot holes on your journey. It’s just a rough patch Bro. Do what you can but stay the course, don’t need you doing a walkabout like the Doc has.
Found out today that I’m elected to stay on travel until the end of the month. oh joy…
Back spasmed on me twice today - hard enough to drop me to my knees but it let up right away and I’m at least walking normally now. A little slow but without a limp.
Shit Soldog, it really sucks being you right now. I hate saying it because you really don’t have a choice. Hang in there Bro, things will turn for the better. I am thinking positive thoughts for you. Think positive Bro, it’s all we can do in times like these. Here’s to a speedy recovery!
The back is still doing well so I got another workout in today.
45 minutes on the bike doing increasing resistance then backing off to cool down. Finally got my heart rate up over 140 when my legs were screaming. This thick air at low altitude makes a lot of difference.
Arm work: curls & pushdowns on the machine and enough weight that I sent to failure on the last set before i got to 10 reps.

That’s it buddy… keep the blood flowin’ and it will al come together!
The power went out so I went to the hotel to do:
30 minutes of tough hill climb. Got the heart rate up to 159 and quite a burn in quads, glutes and hammies. Nice to know my whole leg was working.
Chest press and lat pulldown
Neither the bike nor the weights needed power and there was plenty of light thru the windows. Power came back so I showered and came back to work…
Sounds like your getting into the swing nicely, soldog. Don’t get used to the thick air. You are at a definite advantage while your amongst us amphibians.

/Sigh, guess back to work means being able to afford the workouts
Covered in ice here right now, but they want us in at work.
Back home for a while. Starting a new proposal tomorrow with a short turn around. But I’ll be at home and I will keep training.

Neat to hear that you are working out with your son, setting a great example.

Good news on that shoulder. Poundages coming back quickly, looks like.
