It's a Dog's life

Way to keep at it Bro!

Thanks Jimmy!

4 Feb Wado class with 45 minutes of sparring - fun!

5 February 2009
w=198
Bike 15 min HR hill peak=144
shldr rehab
chins 5/5/5/4/4
bench barx20, 95x5, 115x5, 135x3/3/3/3/2

a slight assist by my son needed on the 3rd rep of the last set.

These 11 hour days are keeping my sessions short. Maybe that’s OK since I’m pretty sore…

I’m really happy you’re get back on your journey. Hands down everytimes, all you can do is better than nothing. If you can’t progress, maintain. We all know it’s a pain when life gets in the way of training. Stay strong Soldog!

What is it they say about all that muscle memory stuff? Your back in the saddle. You will be blasting away in just a little bit!

Keep at it Soldog, you’re doing great!

Thanks gents!

Looking good Brother.

Worked right through Wado class last night, really sucks…

10 February 2009
w=200
bike 10 min w/u
shldr rehab
dead lifts 135x5/5 225x5/5 285x3/3
Thought I loaded 275, wondered why the bar felt unbalanced and why I couldn’t get 3x3. Then I noticed I had a 25 and a 35 on the bar ? d’oh. Mentally burned out from non stop proposals.
Front Squat 155x3/3/3
Bike 20 min steady state

Felt totally burned out last night at Wado class

12 February 2009

Good to see you back at it.

That’s really great to hear Soldog. When ever you can push yourself it’s a good day. I’m glad you’re doing better, stay strong.

I’ve had days like that, but I sure felt better the next day when I had worked out anyway.

Wish you well. Love the Wado Ryu place I’m at, btw, and that kata book has been a great thing.

That’s great Elaikases! You can also search on You Tube and find videos of them as well.

Thanks guys! I’m finished with allowing my work schedule rule completely my training. Doing even a little is better than doing nothing.

13 February 2009
w=200
bike 30 min 2 HR hills 155 & 160 peak

Felt like puking on the first hill and couldn’t breath fast enough. Second hill was easier. Probably means I need more warmup time before hitting the tough parts.

What to go soldog. Good training!
