You’ve got my sympathy. If I can just throw off the chills myself I’ll even join you for some of that whine.

Ditto - how about some cheese to go with our vintage whine?

Prepping for that colonscopy I had this morning I didn’t dare cut any cheese.
Now What I’d give for a big red and nice mild creamy cheese. See what creative thought can do for us weakminded folks!
I must be doing better today. Spent 6 hours priming the rebuilt upstairs. 5 gallons down and another 5 to go tomorrow. Shoulders are fried and I relearned not to reach overhead and let the extension pole do the reaching.
Hope your shoulders are recovering.
Hope all is well with you Soldog. Haven’t seen you around for awhile.

My best wishes as well.
Hey Dog! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
This is the longest dang paint job I’ve ever seen…
Happy New Year everybody and thanks for the concern.
Nothing earth shattering kept me away. December was a complete bust as far as any training. Work got real busy just before we traveled for the holidays. Then we got back in town and (yes Skidmark) finished the painting. Found out we lost that big contract over the holidays so I’m taking an extra week of vacation this week. Hopefully I’ll have something to work on by next week. I am starting back into training.
Wado practice last night for the first time in over a month and I’m pretty stiff and sore today. I’m planning on starting back with the weight training next week.
Best to everyone…
Welcome back.
Glad your back. Look forward to seeing you around more

That must have been a little frustrating - after putting all that work in on it.
Hope you had a great holiday season. Welcome back.

Glad you are back.
Thanks all!
Vacation is over, but serious training won’t start right away. I got informed late in the week that I fly to Huntsville, AL tomorrow morning to work another short proposal.
I’m staying at a Hilton Garden Inn that I know has a couple of cardio machines and a universal type weight setup. So I’ll get a bit of startup work done at least.
Good luck with the proposal. Look on-line for body weight workouts you can do while you’re stuck in the hotel.

x3.
Anything is better than nothing! I stayed at an HGI down there in Athens, GA. It’s center wasn’t too bad in a pinch, but the real gym wasn’t that far away.
I’m on business this week from Wed-Sat in Colorado and they’re putting me in a different place than where I normally stay with different travel arrangements-- read: making it hard for me to get a workout in ![]()
Good luck!~
