I’ve worked out at a few YMCA’s … I think they recruit those stereotypical people (high school curlers, “steroid brothers”, etc.) I’ve seen them at all of the Y’s i’ve visited
Just a thought, if you see someone doing something soo utterly retarded that you are in disbelief that nobody is has walked up to them and said something, the walk up to them and say something. First off this is a bad idea if they look completely and utterly retardedly fucking hopeless ie. the fat dickwad riding the bike all day.
The bike sucks unless you are training to ride a bike otherwise it lowers your sperm count and def does little else to improve your chances of getting a decent body so let the hopeless cardio half a fags pedal away…lessens the chances of them reproducing. Otherwise, if you see a MAJOR violation ie the lady with the flat bench in the middle of the crossover rack.
Nicely walk up to her and say something like “I’m not trying to be rude but generally when the gym is this crowded, putting a bench here to do this movement that can be more easily done over there, is not something you would really wanna do.” Say it in a soft quiet pussyish tone if it’s an older female (yeah it’s gay but thats prob someones fuckin mom or grandma ect).
If it’s a younger guy on the other hand feel free to be more of a dickhead but realize that when you’re big scrong like bonez you are kinda perpetuating the meathead douchebag roidhead stereotype

luckily they tend to stick to the cardio deck, which is a place I have no business being in this time of year.
I swear thats how it is! The free weight section yesterday looked exactly the same a always. Mean while the cardio section actually had line ups and had to enforce their 30min max rule.

sparse. empty. There were only ~7 people in the weight lifting area today. And I work out at the YMCA which is one of the few gyms in my suburban neighborhood. Maybe everybody just gave up on resolutions?
I work out at the YMCA too, and, there were ~7 people when I was leaving… but was helluva crowded when I was first there.
I swear I go to the same gym as you lol
I think this is how Ed Norton felt at the end of Fight Club.
