Liking the volume, and it’s working for ya, 365 is a good bench, it makes me envyous I can’t bench with this fuckin elbow, only incline’s, and I hope it carries over. I’m to cheap to buy a sling shot. I should order one for the gym, or two mabey then I can have one, so anyway a couple things, wondering your thoughts on board presses, you think they carry over, or just a good tricep move, and do you think the sling shot’s the shit, I should buy one to hang at the gym for the guy’s. good stuff latter

I don’t think just board pressing is that great for a raw bencher in terms of building the bench press itself. I use them purely as a tricep accessory exercise. I don’t like doing close grip bench to my chest because of all the shoulder rotation, it bothers my right shoulder. So I do my close grips to a board instead, and you can crank the weight up doing that and just try to use it as a good heavy tricep movement.

As for the slingshot, I honestly use that purely for mental reasons. Not as a bench press strengthener or tricep strengthener even, but just as a way for me to feel heavy weight in my hands. I’ve noticed that despite the number of reps I can get with weights that are slightly heavy for me, when I get into true one rep weights, I struggle. So I’m trying to just expose my body and my CNS to supramaximal loads so that I will be mentally better at hitting a true max on bench and the weight will feel better in my hands. Heavy negatives would probably accomplish the same thing.

Chia showed me Orlando Green’s workout and it inspired me to do more upper back. He would do bent rows with like 455, “DB” rows (he used a straight bar loaded with 225 rofl), weighted pullups against bands, lat pulldowns, and a couple other things.

Unfortunately I realized I hate doing all those things except maybe lat pulldowns lol. I gave bent rows a go at least, although I wasn’t going to, but Chia started doing them anyway, and then I felt like a great big bitch.

For the first time ever caught on tape:

You have to look really, really close to tell that it moved haha.

Mabey try coming up on your toes with all that weight when you do them rack pulls, and get some growth in them pasty white little calves, haha, then atleast you’d have a reason to do them

Number 4 was probably okay, and maybe number 5. I should probably move my stance in a little bit and/or turn my feet out a touch so it’s easier for me to hit depth. Overall though squats are feeling pretty okay.

The person in the back is whipping their hair back and forth dope rack pull. I can’t believe you threw up a squat video, you actually do squat. By the way, I know I may get lectured for this or something, who or what is a Chia?
