If you were at all wondering, I’m still working my way through the Conan stories, and still enjoying them.
It’s inspirational in the same way as Alpha’s log is. Thanks for the strong push to read them.

Csulli then realizes he is fucking csulli, and ends this shit by clean, and pressing then throwing the bear off the cliff.

Press: I realized I forgot to actually do my 5/3/1 press… first go at pre-exhaust training lol
135 3x
155 4x… Well looks like I failed to get the required 5 immediately after I reset my training max. I lose 5/3/1.
Also I semi-strained my lower back. It’ll be fine in a day or so, but still. I fucking hate overhead press. From what fresh new hell did some moron pull this unnatural feeling bitch of an exercise? Nothing hurts my low back like standing presses.
Bradford Press:
2 sets of like 16 or 8 I don’t even know how you’re supposed to count this cockamamie exercise.

I’ll actually list the mobility stuff I did this time. I spent like an hour literally just doing this.
Rolled both sides of my low back and glutes with a lacrosse ball for a LONG time.
Sat in a full squat for 10 minutes.
Did that Kelly Starrett hip flexor stretch against a wall. Well I kind of did it. I can barely even get in the position let alone push my hips forward…
Did another hip flexor stretch with band traction pulling forward on the rear leg.
Did some “Hassock squats” back and forth.
Did some groin, hamstring, and low back stretching.
Sat in a full squat for several more minutes.
After all that my low back actually felt better than it normally does haha!
240lb Atlas Stone:
1 rep to the shoulder
set of 3
set of 4
set of 5
Tire Flips:
3 sets of 5; I dunno how much the tire weighs; a million pounds maybe.
EZ Bar Curls:
70lbs 10x
90lbs 10x
90lbs 10x
90lbs 10x
DB Curls:
45’s for 4 sets of 10
Face Down Incline Bench DB Curls:
30’s for 4 sets of 12

Dat rumination.
I wonder what would happen if we had never turned our bodies into retarded hunks of flesh to start with lol.
Is it just me or are the people who focus the most on mobility the ones who are the most injured and least recovered?

I think there’s a false bravado associated with people who are against mobility and stretching. It’s rather bullshit, and quite frankly it irks me more than anything. Mobility, for the vast majority of living breathing beings on this planet is crucial, because we LIVE dysfunctional life styles. If one cannot grasp that fact, than you can be excused by your own ignorance. I HAVE to stretch pre workout or I cannot function. I’ll either fuck some shit up, or I won’t be able to perform to a capacity. Some people are blessed to not have to use static stretching, but I guaran-fucking-tee you 9/10 people can benefit from it in some way, whether intensive, or minute. Learn about YOUR body, and physiology/biomechanics as a whole, and you’ll appreciate the wonders of garnering simple concepts without the ego intervening.
Thank you very much, now get out da whey, dawg.
