I guess thats it.
his squat and deadlift are stupid…I couldn’t even load that much weight w/out needing a break. ![]()
I don’t think he’s too worried about health.
I was watching part of this DVD today, a little boring, but I never realized how big he is.

You found a Ronnie DVD boring? Any other bodybuilding DVD must be like watching a funeral than lol…

About half of his DVD’s are filled with him eating his grits and eggs and other monotonous meals. I’m sure his breakfast’s alone take up 25% of the DVD.
I am really wondering what’s in his secret tackle box of “supplements”
He explains it in his vids. Its basically an assortment of vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, joint supporters, liver tabs, asprin, advils and multi’s. If I remember correctly.
ronnies dvds are hilarious.
compare his head size from back then with today, crazy!
Probably not, no.
Eliteism, in whatever endeavour, is never ‘healthy’. To be the best at what you do, regardless of profession, or sport, requires a certain personality.
People assume that BBers are a unique breed, but in fact they probably arent. I know of some pretty daft things that other sports people do in the name of performance.
Where I think BBing is slightly different though, is in the fact that when it comes to stage time, there is nothing to hide. Therefore to look your best, under such scrutiny about your appearance, people will do anything so that they dont look bad.
BBing is all about obsession and compulsion.
I don’t see the problem. If you got money to buy all that shit that can make even a little difference, then you buy it.
Why take asprin though? I read this in Poliquins book earlier too but he didn’t say why.
That’s a lot of stuff. And that’s what he was willing to put on a DVD…hmm…
At least he kept it in a nice neat tackle box instead of sean sherk who kept all his shit in a basket on his table lol.

You realize the same can be said about ANY passion, right?
Where obsession and compulsion have the potential to be unhealthy symptoms…

Ya… that was funny his vitamin basket… lol
I dunno… I think it’s good that he’s taking a lot of precautions given the array of drugs he’s on… Healthy? certainly not… but I don’t think bodybuilding at that level has anything to do with health…
How does taking so many pills so regularly NOT affect his liver? I mean, I am sure it does…
Wouldn’t it be smart to take a few weeks - a month, even - off entirely from taking any pills, and instead taking things for healing the liver (cysteine, milk thistle) ?
Christ he sounds like a dope.
I always hear people mention how smart Coleman is, but every time I hear him speak he just doesn’t come off as very bright…
