Post-It notes use a very low-tack adhesive that can be dispersed by water. In the unlikely event that there is residue in the paint, a simple rinse with water will take it off.
I don’t know about “other stuff”, but there is a reason that the car prank specifically uses Post-Its. It’s not funny if the prank wrecks the paint job.
The only way I could see getting spots in the paint is if you pull the prank while the paint job is still wet.

I personally like to keep my car very clean. I also plan to keep my vehicle for a long time. So my car covered it post-its would just upset me to no end.
Try going to a car show and ask if can put post-its on someone?s car. Though my car is not a show car, I treat it as such.
The best prank, is to pose nude or semi-nude on their vehicle, rubbing your ass or dick over the door handle, and put a little melted chocolate on the handle, take pics and send them to the person in a week or two.
