Is Poliquin Insane?

Yeah. It’s the old “tell me what to eat and how to lift” without wanting to know about macros, rep ranges, loading, etc.

But by turning a blind eye to those things, people become confused and misunderstand different ways of getting from point A to point B. Or why one way is better for one person than another.

Most of the Poliquin articles on T Nation are so in your face with crazy quotes and extreme methods that he seemed insane.

I checked out a couple of his books and dude was a great writer and super effective communicator. And instead of strange methods to make training extreme, he was more into organization of methods to keep training fresh.

And not to mention that he always got results on the worst conditions. Poliquin was one of a kind. People criticizing or even rejecting his concepts and methods are way too ignorants to realize they know nothing or just parrots repeating.

And why do you feel you have the right to do that? Beyond the obvious fact that it makes you look wise and cool… … …

As someone whose formal education is politics, I’d be very curious to hear what right you feel is being exercised at this time.

In theory, you should be able to identify all the rights exercised in that sentence and especially the act of ridiculing those who try to help… So, since you ask, it becomes even clearer that you belong to the same group…

Exactly, which is why I’m asking you, because currently I cannot identify the right being exercised here.

There’s no need to be passive aggressive here dude. If you have something you want to say, please say it. Or please answer my question.

Same thing here. What’s your point…? I don’t think I could have been more explicit…

My point is I don’t know what right is being exercised here. It’s why I wrote this

As someone whose formal education is politics, I’d be very curious to hear what right you feel is being exercised at this time.

And then I followed up by writing this

I cannot identify the right being exercised here.

I genuinely do not know how to further explain that I do not know which right you feel is being exercised in this instance, and I am curious as to which one you feel is being exercised.

I am asking a question, seeking an answer.

Maybe is your twisted concept of the word “right” … … …

I insist: there is no other set of words that can better convey what I think.

I’ll take a worse way, or a different way. You now have expressed that my concept of the word “right” is twisted, so I’d love to hear how you define rights. That could be where the miscommunication exists.

I give you the honor… After all, you’re the

Enlighten us…

If you insist. Here is a definition of a right

“A right is a power or privilege held by the general public, usually as the result of a constitution, statute, regulation, or judicial precedent”

Does your definition differ? If so: how?

Oh… totally…

Feel free to change my words “have the right to” with the word “can” so Oxford English Dictionary people won’t get disturbed…

I told you from the beginning: you belong to that group…

I’m glad we’re in agreement that no rights were actually exercised then

Have a great day dude!

There’s no agreement… And “no rights were actually exercised” can be said technically, but in the end it had the same task…

You’re calling bell peppers a fruit while I’m calling it a vegetable but the color and flavor is still there in the pan :joy:… It won’t change just because “your book” got updated…

I told you your concept was twisted…

Have a nice day you too… Politics man…

This is, in fact, the agreement
