In general? I know partially hydrogenated oil tends to = trans fat and trans fat is evil. However, partially hydrogenated oils are contained within the protein bars sold on this site and we all know that Biotest wouldn’t do anything bad for us right? Just curious.
I just looked at the list for Metabolic Drive Protein Bars, and the only partially hydrogenated oil is contained in the cookie bits, which is an insignificant enough amount to not even get an 0.1 on the label.
Worry much?
It depends on how much you want to dwell on the little stuff since there’s only a fraction of a gram worth of this in the vanilla cookie pieces in Metabolic Drive Cookie Dough bars.
Personally, it’s never bothered me or kept me from eating them.
However, if it’s a big deal to you, you can always stick to Metabolic Drive Chocolate Chunk bars since they don’t utilize any ingredients with partially-hydrogenated oil.
