Worst President in history… I thought that guy just left. The one who said there were WMD’s in Iraq. Well I quess he should have known they were there since his dad sold them to Sadam when he was in office…and we did find them there…just didnt want to tell anybody because they had made in the U.S.A. stamped on them… thanks for the 6+ trillion dollar war, not to mention all the post war spendings our nation will have. You need to think about the future. What future do we have if the USA is bankrupt? Sure Bush did raise the debt but for good reason. Ask the women in Iraq if it was worth it to them. They can now show there face on the street without being raped or beaten. Children get better education and freedom. Yes Freedom from being under a dictator who killed thousands of his own people. I dont know about you tme, but our poorest people in this country have more money and a lifestyle higher than 80-90% of people in the world. Helping people around the world that do not have food, clothing, or shelter is a lot more pressing, than helping fat americans on welfare.
By the way any body can walk into an emergency room and get medical treatment and not pay if you do not have the means. I would call that basic medical care.
Also any american can go to school. The government hires truency (sp??) officers to make sure children go to school. The issue with education here is parent involvement. Schools here are daycares and not education centers. Ask any teacher what they spend most of their time on. There are children all over the world that have to work the fields just to eat, and will never go to school.
I have a feeling you have never gone to a third world country and seen true poverty. When you look a child in the eyes that has not eaten in a week and he is gray then you will know poverty. This country does not have that unless the child is being abused.
