Kid Falls Asleep During Obama Commencement

I couldn’t be more proud to be a resident of beautiful Kalamazoo, Michigan today.

Weak. Video removed. And it hasn’t even been an hour since you started this thread.

Phooey. This one’s worse quality.

I love how he wakes up and starts clapping.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Now that is hilarious

In before bro-politics.

That kid is an idiot. I mean, seriously, how is that seen as funny instead of flat out disrespectful? That’s the president. I would say the exact same thing if some kid did that on national tv sitting right behind Bush.

The entire world will see that…and Americans are the ones finding it hilarious?

Never said it wasn’t disrespectful. But given the kid probably isn’t even out of high school and doesn’t give 2 shits about politics makes it boring for him. Does that excuse him sleeping when a very important event is going on right in front of him? no it does not, but i can at least understand the kid’s point of view.

Trust me, the rest of the world still loves Obama. Let America have its fun. It has so few political moments to LOL at.

Except Israel. Israel does not love Obama.

I wanna know what kind of extravagant life this kid is living that having the President speak at your commencement is so boring. Is he surrounded by world leaders and global bigwigs on a daily basis?

I’m pretty sure somebody read Dr. Suess “Oh the Places You’ll Go” at mine. Whether you agree with politics or not, it’s not often that you see the President speak in person.

The kid’s point of view? ??

Again, this is the president. There is no way in hell even at the age of 8 that I would have been that clueless as to the gravity of the situation. My parents (possibly entire family) would trip out if that was me at that age…because they would understand just how significant that is. That video is now a part of history…FOREVER. yet you “understand his point of view”??

In any other country, this would be seen as a disgrace…yet here, people calling themselves Americans turn it into a comedy skit.

If that really makes sense to you, then we definitely differ on what is acceptable on a world stage.

Everything now becomes a fucking Jackass skit to people.

C’mon - was I the only one who partied hard the night before high school graduation?

Some of us were smart enough to do that and still play the game the next day as if nothing happened.

One yawn might just be excusable (if he even attempted to do it on the DL). 15 of them is fucking stupid and vacuous.

Good luck defending something that damn retarded.

Yes, I understand that he is an idiot. I think any reasonable person would never do such a thing and a reasonable family would never have even allowed this to happen. That being said, this kid is an idiot, and I know plenty of people who wouldn’t give a shit and are just as disrespectful. This sort of conduct is the norm nowadays in terms of being ‘cool’.

So yes, i do understand his point of view, not that i am condoning this sort of action and if i ever had a kid I would skin him alive if i saw him do this.

Reminds me of my high school graduation. The speeches were literal torture except for one in which a girl started sobbing after talking about leaving her friends behind and going to college. I totally cracked up, I couldn’t help it.

kinda funny…obama might be mocked a little but it will be insignificant tomorrow.

That kid’s going to embarrassed his whole life. Regardless how of how “big” a night you had before how stupid is it not to be prepared for an event involved the American President - probably the most watched and guarded man on the planet.

Maybe, maybe not. That kid just became famous…for all the wrong reasons.

Maybe he’s really narcoleptic

Turning 18 war going on. Yeah you might want to listen

boring is boring president or not.
