Maybe it’s just from growing up around Italians where touching, hitting, and confidently holding your opinions on your sleeve, but I don’t think holding things in once someone has made the first move is a good idea. And it just seems awkward and passive aggressive anyway. Being non-combative only works when the other person shares the same mindset.

The few times anyone has slapped me (once was a girl), I didn’t hit back but instead, before their hand got back down, had them chicken winged and either up against a wall or with their face pressed into the floor. Then I calmly told them that I was going to break their arm unless they apologized, and kept twisting until they did so. Haven’t had a problem with them since. Treated them just like my dog when she was a puppy and thought she could get away with some Alpha shit, put her on her back, defenseless and fully aware of who was in charge. HOWEVER, if one of Prof X’s landwhales comes at me with a knife, I believe (actually the feminists have told me) that we’re all equal and should be treated as such. Not my beliefs, but I take full advantage of the rules I’ve been given

Come on Krazy. Grow up. I don’t agree with everything OG says. In fact, if you remember was on your side in the other thread. And while some of what she said was off-topic (in regards to the fact that she brought up domestic violence when almost everyone else was talking about self-defense) I doubt that she is against self-defense. I doubt she’d want to see a guy go to jail for defending himself, even if the assailant was a woman. I doubt she’d want a guy to go to jail for decking a knife wielding woman intent on stabbing him.
