Ironman Magazine

Is this a good magazine? It seems like they don’t push steroids and their workout programs seem to make sense. Especially with former world champion bodybuilders contributing to their articles. I know there are some bad magazines out there.

Push steroids? Did you mean that literally? Which magazine push steroids? If you’re talking about the kind of pictures they’re showing, they show plenty of guys who are juice to the gills.

How does former world champion bodybuilders contributing articles mean anything?

Don’t waste your money on that rag! It used to be one of the best muscle mags on the market then the new owner got a hold of it and ruined it!

It is truly a piece of garbage!

I never want to see you mention that mag again!

(Okay I got a little carried away, but why do you need anything more than T-Nation?

Yes, there are some bad mags out there, and I think Ironman is one. Althouth there
may be some good info in it, it is the same article rephrased month after month, year after year. POF, X-rep, Train, Eat, Grow and Mike Mentzner. In this months issue, there is actually a spot about how wearing clean socks to bed can make you fall asleep faster, and it goes on state this may help you lose fat. Pure crap.
Honestly, I have been a fan (victim) of the muscle mags for years. I came across T-Nation about a month ago. I’ve been exposed to more useful information, new and inventive training theories and practicle advice in the last month than years of reading these mags.
