chinups…yeah right, grip was shot.

Hoping for more with the straps but it’ll do for now. Brains on vacation already, the body is still grinding it out. One more lift Thursday and THAT’S IT!!! I’m never coming back…nevermind.

Thats a good lift. Noting bad about those numbers.

thanks Galaxie, I was thinking that I’ve been grinding a bit these days, not sleeping well, under-eating a bit, leading into my time off. Did feel good though, low volume, but pretty effective anyway.
On a side note, had a female doctor asking about training the other day…? Curious…

I threw in 6 sets of ab-sliders randomly and 2 set of hanging knees at the end. A strange mix indeed, but I feel jacked up for my trip. Get some rest,get some cocktails, play with the kids…I’d like to do zero training while I’m away, recover and re-charge…I’ll see If I can pull it off!

But don’t think I won’t be checking up on everyone…! God speed. Friday I fly…

Dam this place, I’ve put on about 10 pounds I think, with the booze and food, good lord, No training so far, this may become the worst “bulK” I’ve ever been apart of…Still need my next rotation figured out. I’ts gonna be heavy!

SERENITY NOW!!! This would be a good time for before pic’s…nothing like a couple injuries and an over-drinking/eating vacation to soften up a 170 lbs. body…? I’m actually sore from NOT training, and sitting around visiting so much. And, I have know idea about my next training cycle.

Have I hit all the high points? Pretty much. But I’m a mile high again! And looking forward to catching up with all you guys. I figure I’ll do some total body days to get back up to speed, and plan my attack. Let’s say for the next 2 weeks. Then it’s on for the rest of the year.

Mr. 63G, I don’t see that happening! I thought I would ease back into lifting but, I don’t do that very well. The deads kicked my ass, today was light, friday I’m gonna hit lower body.

I’ll repeat my last lift and see where I’m at. Over all, I’m thinking two weeks to get back up to speed, then just pound away with some new workouts. Many of my old favs, just cranked up a bit…time will tell.

Alt. all three of these. 60 sec rest all the way. Nothing crazy, but it felt good to move again! Then.

snatch high-row 4x10 @ 90 quick pull, hold, slow down
alt. with seated DB press 4x12 @ 40…finished with 4x15 ab slider, " stop staring or I’ll make YOU do them". Abs are the only thing that feel up to speed. I’ve been leaving little piles of rust on everything I touch…strange.

The following story in true, submitted for your enjoyment.

I got into a fight at work. Sort of. Cutting to the chase…
Me: “Sir, your done here, I’ve asked you to leave and that’s what you need to do”.
Him: “that’sandcause your*ect”.
Don’t f-in touch me…
Me: “I don’t want to touch you, and I wont ask you again. Leave now.”

Him: “I should kick your ass right here.”…I slip just a bit out of step here and deadpan the rest…
Me: I’m 5’10" 175 lbs (he’s bigger) if you think that will impress any hot nurses, your sadly mistaken".
Him: no response, just thinking about it…
Me: “Did I mention that I’m 40 yrs. as well?” (he’s younger) “how’s that gonna look”

Him: Looks at the door, looks at me, looks at the door…At this point, I’m done with him. Just a total ass-hole. I’m compassionate at my job, but after a point, your finished. Period. He starts walking, I follow some steps behind, and he leaves. I don’t think he ever figured out what the hell just happened. I knew from that start that I’d end up fighting this guy, but, I was wrong.

The guys a regular of ours, and I see him in the neighborhood, in local places, he has no idea who I am. The best part, aside from the outcome, many people heard the whole exchange. What a ridiculous scene that had to have been! Gee I’m glad to be back from vacation, back in my fish bowl world where I belong.
And then he Deadlifted…
