Posts short and sweet…
Rack pulls: 8x5@315 alt. with
Dips : 8x6@+45…short rest breaks, real focused. Think I had a “this area taken” sign on my back, maybe in my face!! Just moved back and forth rack to dip, rack, dip…with my straps and the Z-man rigged Dip-Belt-plate-thing, I just kept moving and grooving. END OF POST.
SFP- dam right, good for your dad AND his doctor. Maybe he’s a T-Nationer like us?
…rackpull/dips, took about 5min break then…Overhead press 5x5@135, very easy,
alt. with Chins: 5x6, also easy. Nice training day, short and sweet.
Been taking it to easy lately, and I’m not sick anymore, just dam lazy! 4days on, 4 off, 3on, 5off…just stupid really. A friend has asked me to help her, and I’m very excited about it. She’s never really trained/lifted, but is decent with nutrition at this point. I think she’s got the attitude for it, and her and my sister are may work together at times. Team Z-Man activate!!!
Now stop posting and get training…
Team Z-Man.
Has a nice ring.
A merry band of misfits to be sure. Should be fun though.
EDT Style: Back squat 7x6@185
dips 5x8
chins 6x6…30min.
Started to slow, then sped up and did alright. Then…RDl @ 185
calfraise @ 225
abwheel/overhead sidebend combo’s
Went for 20min. Don’t remember the total, I do remember that sickly feeling we all love so much? Been lazy with the energy work for awhile now, better dust off the gloves!
Went home after a 16 shift, sat on my couch for a snack, and this is what I heard on some dam show…
“There are no bad foods, only bad portions.” Then I saw what looked like a commercial for the National Western Stock Show (with the cows painted green). Nope, not quite. It was of course, video of people in the Paddys’ day parade. Just made me laugh into my yogurt/protien/blueberry/flaxseed bowl.
Late start today, Deads & deads…
Warm-up this and that,
deads: 2x6@135…alt.with face pulls
3x5@225…alt. overhead sidebends
6x3@315…alt. with rest and a cheesy grin!!!
3x8@225…alternate with heavy breathing, sweating and shaking. That’s it.
I’ll go look, but I can’t remember pulling 315 for 1 triple, let alone 6x3. The pulls got slower as i went, but I felt very solid and stable with my back all the way through. Pretty happy with that, must be doing something right!

Congrats on the 6 triples, Z-man!
Awesome work !
great pulls
kmc
Awesome! That means Ive got some catching up to do. Dang.
Thanks all, I saw that I did 5x5@315 a bit ago, but they still felt real solid…
Tried some BB floor presses cause EVERYBODYS DOING THEM…warmed up to
5x6@225...this was petty good, back in a bit
That was a long bit…floor presses?
Actually felt pretty strong with these, but trying to pause at the bottom really smashed the heck out of my arms(tricepts). It was alright for my first try at them, but I’ll certainly need more work at it.
floor presses, incline fly/press, db curl&press, 5x20 pushups, and a sickening ab circut with heavy cable crunch, ab wheel, hanging knee raise. I can hammer my abs and not get sore, not so this time!
And then I srewed off for the last three days, not training and eating a lot! Back at it on monday with lower body/abs (maybe they’ll be hawt soon?)…
END OF LINE
You’re supposed to pause floor press’s? Ive never done them.
Heck if I know Gal! It seemed like the right thing to do…I’ll have to look it up. Still to dam lazy, I’m not putting my over-eating to good use at all.
For some odd reason, I’ve had two more girls ask me for help with training and nutrition. Can’t they see how lazy I’ve been? It’s not a very good example to be setting is it?
Back on the horse I go…GVT style!
Godspeed.
HAHAHA. When you find out let me know.

I hope so, I always do. I figure since it’s a concentric-centric lift I may as well get the full effect by pausing.

Pausing is de rigeur for floor presses. It’s supposed to strengthen the switchover point where triceps takes over from the chest - typically a sticking point.
“Tish, that’s french!”
Right. Sooo…right. I still don’t know. Dam this snow! Dam it all to hell…
HAHAHA!
Stuck at work for the weather (lame), glad to be working I suppose, but 16 hrs. is a grind for sure. I’ll go home and eat, go to bed and have a couple days off. Gee, maybe I should train or something? I’m still eating a bunch, I should be putting it to good use…
