“Movies and television shows are full of scenes where a man tries unsuccessfully to interact with a pretty woman. In many cases, the potential suitor ends up acting foolishly despite his best attempts to impress.” It looks like this movie stereo-type is proven to be accurate.
It’s kind of funny, normally when I read about these studies I find myself zeroing in on all the obvious flaws of the study. When reading this I couldn’t find a thing wrong with the design of the tests. Then I realized I was probably impaired by the picture of the beautiful woman.

Even after 26 years of marriage, I often find myself somewhat tongue-tied when engaging in a conversation with my wife when she’s nude in the bathroom in the morning. My brain feels scrambled.
