Interacting w/ a Woman Can Leave Men 'Cognitively Impaired'

“Movies and television shows are full of scenes where a man tries unsuccessfully to interact with a pretty woman. In many cases, the potential suitor ends up acting foolishly despite his best attempts to impress.” It looks like this movie stereo-type is proven to be accurate.

It’s kind of funny, normally when I read about these studies I find myself zeroing in on all the obvious flaws of the study. When reading this I couldn’t find a thing wrong with the design of the tests. Then I realized I was probably impaired by the picture of the beautiful woman.[/quote]

I feel like after chasing girls for a while, my brain works quicker. Talking with girls under pressure really makes me react fast. Having everyday conversations where you talk to people you don’t really know that well, where you are forced to think up things to say fast is probably good for the brain…if your topics of conversation are solid lol

I was thinking there may be areas where we perform better that were not reflected by the research. I would think we get pretty creative in ways to meet or strike up a conversation with a pretty chick.
