I have a split and stick to it. I have a general scheme bastardized JM template that I work from generally I do a lot of the same stuff but rather than freaking out like I used to when a piece of equipment is taken. I change exercises but still sticking To something that fits the criteria for that exercise. Ie max pump, power ect. Never made better progress than the last 6 months
ryan curious on how you have your day’s,w/outs set up.JM’s stuff is great.I pre and post pump on all my lifts now and have never been this injury free in a long time.Plus with setting it up JM style you can get a hell of a lot of volume in as well, witch you know of course.

Very much the same as what you said. Pre pump of some sort 1-2 exercises. “Heavy” or power exercise. 1-2 more pump. Then a stretch exercise. Volume always depends on energy levels and pump. Sometimes I will do multiple rounds of that last part so a pump exercise some sets then stretch for some then back to pump and finish with stretch. That’s on a good volume day. Split starts on Monday with legs heavy. Then upper pressing heavy. Back heavy. Legs pump. Upper press pump. Back pump. Arms and some upper pump on Sunday.

No problem. His training is awesome. Lots of volume but done smart and keeps you healthy. Lots of exercises. Then it just takes small tweaks of rom and form to make sure everything is hitting the correct muscles

OP,
Is that you in the video from the first post?
Yes I am one of the guys in the vid. I agree with PROF X, and no I don’t always do “Instinctive training,” in the video I said today I am going to. I always have a “TYPE” of plan but that video was made to show some people who are so fixated on a paper that it’s not always a necessity.
