i fail when the weight gets too heavy for me to bench it. what should i do??
Try harder.
but iāve been trying the same program for two weeks now and iām not getting any stronger. iām thinking about cutting my calories from 1000 back to 800 or so.
thoughts??

Youāve probably reached your genetic potential or are just a hard gainer. Sorry.

you are probably right. i think i will settle for hawt abs instead. i just saw that movie Fight Club. brad pitt is so built in that one.
I finished Thibās Beast Building routine about 2 weeks ago. I tested my bench press max before starting BB and hit 240lbs for 1 rep. I started WS4SB3 last week, and worked up to 245lbs for 3 reps (approximately 270lb 1RM) on my first max effort upper body day.
So, roughly a 30lb increase, if you go with the approximation of a 1RM from a 3RM.
floor pessing every other week instead of using a bench. go wel beyond what u can do(make sure u have spotters)- this will help u slowly lower the weight to the bottom, if u go to fast, u will crush ur elbows. ive used this technique to push my bench from 281 to 402 in 7 months at 242lb. the theory behind it is or at least i got out of it was i was forced to use my lats to to bring it down-pause-the lats to get started and let triās do the rest. just one tool for u to use.

Sounds intriguing to me⦠I try in vain to use my lats to lower the weight, and I have a hard time firing the triceps. Might help me.
