Increasing appetite

Is their anyway to increase your appetite. I am eating six meals a day and I am stuffed after every meal. I am sick of feeling like I am going to puke after every meal.
What do you guys do to increase your appetite?

Over time you appetite will increase as your body weight goes up - I’ve found the longer you do the 6 meals a day (I do 8-9) the more your appetite adjusts and suddenly you’re starving if you don’t eat every 3 hours!

I started taking vitamin B12, and that seems to increase my appetite. Worth a try.

Fenugreek increases my appetite, but I think Cy said it my be estrogenic.

How many calories are you taking per meal? Eating a lot of fat? Fat will make you feel “satisfied” more than carbs or protein. One thing I do when full, and having to eat an MRP is: tear the top off the bag,add ice cold water and stir with a spoon making it into a “pudding” in the bag. It’s less filling than a shake and convient at work. Coffee is supposed to stimulate your appetite.

How do you fit in 8-9 meals/day? I manage to fit in 7 by eating every 2hrs, but this is already tough as I eat without having completely digested the meal that came before… Could you please post a typical daily schedule with meals please? Are you also getting your 7-8 hrs of sleep every night too? Thanks

just gradually eat more and more… my apetite used to be small and now all of a sudden im starving all the time… its cool

I eat 7-8 meals daily even when I workout. Here’s a typical meal day for me when I lift. Eat 5am, 7:30am, 9:30am, 12:00pm,(lift 2pm), 3:30pm, 5:30pm, 7:30pm, 10:00pm. Since I’m very busy I only sleep 6 hrs. from 10:30-4:30 but I do get a 2 h.r nap after my 9:30am meal. It’s not fun to eat 8 meals daily. Food is a chore but I gained 5 lbs. last week from sticking to my diet. Stick out the first few weeks and eventually you’ll need 7 meals day to get by.

All the previous responses were right on. Here is one trick I do. If I eat a small to medium green apple (granny smith), in about an hour, I am starving.

Typical day - M-F (Sa/Su I like to cheat): Breakfast: 8AM nice carb stuff like cereal/etc or weight gainer drink 600 cals , morning snack, fruit or yogurt 100-200 cals, lunch - 500-700 cals, afternoon snack1 - 400 cals - protein drink, afternoon snack2 - 400 cals - protein drink, afternoon snack3 - 200 cals, protein drink or fruit, dinner1 - 500 cals (or so), bedtime snack - 300 cals. This doesn’t count recovery drinks, or efa’s - I have those too!
