I want to try the EDT arm routine however I have no idea how it would fit in a weekly schedule especially doing it twice a week. Would it be ok to do it after i have done other body parts first like back, chest, or shoulders?
My plan for June is to do arms Monday and Friday and do legs on Tuesday and chest/shoulders/back on Thursday.
If you are talking immediately after chest, then I would say no. That’s too many sets and will defintely lead to overtrainig. Avoid Roids suggestion looks good.
CHEST SHOULDERS BACK ALL ON THE SAME DAY??? Please outline how you will train those all on the same day and do it intense enough where you wont lose size…
During June, I will be prioritizing arms with Staley’s EDT program. Therefore, I will not be working my other bodyparts as intensely as I am in May. My intent is to use a 5X5 routine with one compound exercise each for chest/shoulders/back. This will serve two purposes: To get enough sets in to not lose size without overtraining and to set myself up for a more intense upper torso workout in July by concentrating on strength versus hypertrophy in June.
