Deadlifts - 500x1 then 550x1 twice. Could’ve repped it if there was chalk. The power bars are new. Used straps for the second single. While grip wasn’t an issue, I’m not as good with straps. Hips rose too fast. Still locked everything out nice. 550x5 in the next two months should be realistic. If I had calories in me, 550x3 probably would’ve happened. Still not deadlifting anything below 500.
Loaded up 315 and did a speed squat just to feel it.

Strong lifts man. I wish I was as confident with my progress.
Strict Press - 135x1, 185x1, 210x1 then four triples with 210. Really strong. Got really easy when I realized technique was off. Definitely stronger than last time.
Dips - I had to wait to for my shoulders to relax before these. Worked up to 3 plates for 5.
Pendlay Rows - 221x5, 265x5, 287x5, 309x5
Bench - Close grip (as always). Paused. Feet up. Just did 225 for like 6 reps. Remarkably easy. My bench has definitely gone up.
Dips - Some fatigue at this point. 1 plate for 10, 2 plates for 9, 3 plates for 1, 4 plates for 1. Eli said it looked like I could’ve got 6. Had no idea that it looked that easy. I’ll have to try it now.
Pullups - Not much to say. I just do one set until I can’t focus anymore usually.

Squatted today. Decided to alternate volume and heavy shit. Worked up 465 then missed 500. Went super deep. Lost some bottom speed, but that will come back really fast. Depth is back though. Haven’t gone that heavy in a very long time. Reconquered my squat mindset. I’ll be back at 500+ in a few weeks.

Well then Quincy has generously given himself a whole extra .353lbs that he did not lift. You’re only cheating yourself when you do that Quincy.

Piecewise, it was mainly ad libbing an aesthetic plate assortment and somewhat to mess with you.
