In The Defense of Indifference

Fack. Learning. The day was solid.

I am lost. Can you point me in the direction of the salad bar?

I don’t get it.

Got the confirmation that I’ve been waiting for. Once training and paperwork are completed, I can start work.

Squatted and deadlifted today. We’re having a deadlift party next Wednesday. I’m going for 600.

I don’t know where I was going with this. I just wanted to subscribe in a clever way.

I could’ve done something with it, but I’m trying to cut back on internet behavior.

I only cut back when it starts to invade my everyday life.

Nothing bad about these at all in context. I’m sure these will be pretty easy lifts within two months at the most.

Story behind the deadlift. This is the new pull style I’m using. I’m still getting used to it and my deadlift has improved a lot in the last month. I’ll be working with all time high numbers soon. I missed 555 in similar fashion about a little over a month prior. The sets were 515x1, 565x1, 590x0. 515 was my first set. No warm up or anything. This is the second time I’ve started with 500+. I like it that way.

The second lift is called a safe press. It’s actually pretty hard lol. I managed to hit 200. Just couldn’t hit 220. Pretty unstable lift. That was my first doing it. I think it’ll be a nice addition every now and then.

The strict press was kind of shitty. I didn’t feel like I was 100% and everything felt heavy; my ability to getting really tight still isn’t where it used to be. Be that as it may, that is the most weight I’ve ever strict pressed; I was almost 20lbs heavier when I did it. It’s close.

All the lifts were done on different days from most to least recent over the span of several weeks. I still haven’t been recording everything yet. The stronger I get, the more I’ll record.

Damn why I have not notice this log…in

It’s the only footage I had, so I decided to use it in a different way.

Yeah I think so. Just needs a bit more polishing.

Thanks mang.

Will have a few videos up tomorrow.

awesome as usual…please explain to me the reasoning of no warmups and starting with 500, how did it feel? Warming up is always a clusterfuck for me whereas rep set range when going for a max lift…

Awesome press! I’m in.

The first time I did it was due to a lack of time. Fell in love with the idea. It’s always easier than expected and complements my new style perfectly. Also I was wrong, that was actually my third time doing it, not the second.
