Improving Definition/Vascularity

Hello people,

I am currently cutting and am looking to achieve all over definition and vasularity. More so in my legs, delts and back. Is there any specific ways to get this or is it as simple as just losing fat?

Alot of it is genetic - a good example is some people always have vascularity on their upper arms while others never do regardless of their BF.

Generally speaking if you are a natural you will likely have to get extremely lean to have alot of vascularity I would imagine around 8% BF.

Post pics.

A vascular back? Does that even exist?

I don’t know if I’ve just never noticed it or what, but I can’t even imagine what that would look like.

Haha sorry I must have worded it wrong, I’m looking for definition mostly in my legs, delts and back. Vascularity would be an all over thing.

The slow gradual reduction in bodyfat while training in a manner that requires your body to hold to the maximum amount of muscle. Simple as that!

Being super vascular and defined is a matter of leaness. That being said,I noticed that when I did a lot of high intensity cardio I used to get incredibly vascular, like veins running down my abs and obliques, which I guess makes sense considering cardio improves bloodflow throughout the body. But I was also very lean at this point.

I would recommend doing sprints a few times a week, or even better, having a few jumproping sessions a few times a week.

+1
That’s me, it’s ridiculous. It tends to make people see me bigger or “fitter”, no matter my BF or mass (remember being skinny as hell, though “athletic” as younger, but genuinely still been called big

It comes too the fact there’s not much “under skin fat” anywhere in my body. Even in good bulk only my midsection blows up, upper body and quads keeps looking good, or in fact better.

I bet this kind of genetics are behind the “skinny fat” term. Another thing is the accelerated metabolism, which makes me take a leak about 4 times a night, 40 times a day  among the other things. Can eat ton of food without getting fat, skin don’t seem to age the same speed as others, and never sick. In the other hand hardest fucking mass gains possible.

If you don’t recognize yourself, then I guess it’s really low BF for you. Maybe try to accelerate that metabolism with drinking lot of water and caffeine. But beware there’s consequences.

There might be “deeper genetics” involved, but my 30+ years I’ve come to believe that the faster “flushing” of the body, keeps it “cleaner” from all the shit (and muscles).

P.S. These are just personal observations from someone who has distinctive vascularity.
Maybe there’s a drug, or even better, supplements!

Thankyou to everyone that has commented, I have the answers I needed. Much appreciated.

The best combination with cutting is heavy lifting… heavy lifting(5 reps or lower) is great for definition. So try going 5x5 for everything you’re already doing or even 4-5x2-3. Don’t try to up your strength but mainly maintain it.
