Awesome job brother!
Nice pull, bro.
(Or whatever you strength bros say to each other.)
Seriously - great to see you around again and awesome to hear you are a DAD!
That guy in the background of your last video - the one with the beard - dude is scary looking, man.
I am pretty sure that he lifted your weight up with his mind. Check the video. I’m pretty sure that’s what happened.
How frequently are you deadlifting at the moment then?

Thanks, Alpha! I see you’ve been putting up some nice lifts yourself lately. Inspirational!

Thanks, Serge!
He actually said that’s an issue with his image. Super nice guy, but people are afraid to approach him sometimes haha.
Glad to see the forums are still active! I took a bit of a break due to the whole becoming a parent thing ![]()

Competed in a USAPL meet at the end of November and had my best performance yet. Weighed in at 202 (had a decent sized breakfast and wasn’t trying to drop any last-minute weight) and totaled 1,504 for a 104 lb meet PR. I may write up something on how the day went, but here’s a little video I put together:
Alright, I’m going to take another shot at resurrecting this log. An amazing Crossfit facility just opened up right across the street from me with open gym hours. Everything has pretty much fallen into place for me in life. My office and gym are now in the same complex within a 2 minute walk from home. I couldn’t imagine a better scenario right now.
I’m thinking about doing a meet within the next few months before Raw Nationals in October but not quite sure. My Wilks Total from the meet above qualified me for next year’s Arnold, so that is the ultimate training goal right now (would like a 1,600 total).
Last deadlift session
A) Deadlift
(565 x 4) x 2
^Both sets here were PRs. I had only planned on doing a single or two but everything was feeling great so I decided to have some fun with it.
B) Bench
315 x 1 x 4
Finished with a few sets each of chins, GHRs, and hammer curls,
Had a squat session on Monday that is not worth logging. My strength has plummeted since squatting only once a week, as opposed to 2-4. So, I changed that starting today.
Today’s training:
A) Squat
worked up to 435 x 1
B) Paused Bench
(319.4 x 3) x 5 cheap volume PR
That’s all I had time for today. Strength felt great on bench but I’ve been having a lot of troubles keeping my butt down lately.
The progress that you have made is truly amazing. I’ve always enjoyed reading through your logs and I will continue to follow this one for sure, stay strong!

Lol. Someone’s been breaking in the kilo plates.

Awesome username! Can’t wait until their new CD comes out this year. I’ve practically worn out their last one that’s been in my car for 2 years lol. Thanks, bud!

530 x 5
B) Bench from Pins at Chest
315 x 1 x 4
275 x 3 x a bunch
315 x 2
These were awful. Need to work on getting/staying tight at the bottom. Finished up with some chins and stuff.
A) Squat
(414 x 3) x 5 volume PR
B) Paused Bench
275 x 2
295 x 2
315 x 1 x 2
275 x 3
295 x 2
315 x 1 x 2

A) Squat
Ramped up to an easy 435 x 1
B) Paused Bench
325 x 3 x 3 volume PR at this weight
295 x 3 x 2
Finished with some stuff x some reps. Felt great today despite less than stellar sleep.
He’s back! Sup Adam, it’s Dom. Still training at Iron Sport?
