I'm Perkisizing!

@tkddans: Nice lift! BW has been hovering at 200 for the longest time. My best competition lifts are 455/345/610 but I’m not sure what they are at right now. I’ll be doing a mock meet today so we’ll see (not planning on going for a true 1RM, I’ll save that for another few weeks).

I plan on resurrecting this log soon. I have been extremely busy the past few months being recently married, working full time, job hunting, training, and finally landing a new position just yesterday after 8 months of searching so I’m finally able to apply my degree. Plus I have something pretty huge that I will announce here in another 4-6 weeks depending.

Going to try to resurrect this log because I miss posting on T-Nation. I’ll try to write a “where I’ve been” this week but training is finally starting to really come along.

Had another long day outside in the heat but felt like something good was about to happen so I skipped the plan for 5/3/1 and decided to see how some heavy deadlifts felt

617 x 1 PR!
507 x 3, 3 dead tired here so I stopped

Went home after this. Been almost 2 years since I’ve PRed on deadlift so I’m beyond happy. I’m going to start looking for a meet soon so we’ll see how it goes on the platform!

Everything has been feeling really good lately despite long hours at work and sub-par sleep (the little guy has been waking up at odd hours again). Tomorrow’s goal is 5x5 at 365.

Finally got our internet set up so posting will be easier. Been feeling pretty good all around in the gym lately. I’ve been doing a very bastardized version of 5/3/1 to where it’s really not 5/3/1 anymore but it’s working. Hitting paused singles at 345 pretty much every time I’m in the gym so I’d like to think I’m good for 375. Will start logging from now on when I find time between poopy diapers.
